Since I had one of those anesthesia induced naps earlier today and felt a bit too fuzzy to comment later, I'm risking repeating what somebody else already has posted. The dems will want this to be about guns and gun control. The fact is that these actions are hyped for all they are worth in news and in politics for their sensationalism to support positions. So some guy wanting attention does what is certain to garner attention. For a long time, flying the flag at half mast was done to honor a person of real significance; now it's done to honor victims of random violence - what better way to draw attention to yourself than by being the instrument of a presidential decree. Stop putting these people on page one and making half the news about them, and the world is safer for those who may be future victims.

One minor but important correction- the "tolerant" don't wrestle at all with morality. They ebb and flow with ease and emptyheadedness in the direction of whatever the TV, politicians, or whatever idol they've put in front of themselves tells them to.

Everything is taught from that viewpoint….. people always focus on the bullying which will never be stopped completely….. They never ever focus on teaching the person being bullied how to stand up for themselves.

My daughter had absentee seizures which caused her to be delayed… She was getting picked on at the school playground…. I told her that I wasn’t going to the school and that she needed to stand up for herself…. I told her some things to do based off what was happening and the next day she came home extremely proud of herself…. The bullies left her alone and she gained a new level of respect….

This country wasn’t built on hatred nor is it the foundation of the union today. When one of these events happen the usual suspects come out and try to take advantage of it to push their anti-2A agenda and people react to them. Nobody wants to discuss the root causes of these events because to do so would endanger one of their sacred cows.

I don’t agree with that at all….. the overwhelming majority get along especially when politics isn’t the topic…With a country of 330,000,000…. There will always be bad seeds that ruin it though. I work at a place with mixed-race…. Mixed political ideologies and everyone gets along great…. Social media makes it seem like everyone is at each other throats all the time.

Lots to think about, that's for sure. The anger and vitriol is getting worse, and the leaps in logic to explain how it's ok are getting more complicated.

People are mainly pizzed at the clear targeting of children by the LGBTQ movement. I don't care what 2 grown adults do in their bedrooms. But leave the children alone and don't be out here advancing LGBTQ lifestyles to children.
