And a lot of people are douches to him. I don't have a problem with either really as I assume most of you are adults. And usually he's just responding to somebody taking personal shots at kids he works with. I don't like seeing anonymous posters taking personal shots at high school kids they don't know over internet rumors. So I get where he's coming from.

It shouldn’t have ever been “ that complicated “ this thread is full of FEELS over a kid that may or may not camp at a university that may or may not offer based on if he camps . My guess ( without any knowledge of the facts ) i bet the ones that are truly involved in it like Woodi and CJP are less offended than most of the people on in this thread .

I’m not sure how many people are “offended” by Woodi’s lukewarm attitude to coming to camp to earn an offer. He either comes or he doesn’t. We’ll both be fine either way. Nothing to be offended about.

I agree with Slee. BB could definitely be more tactful, but he does get “attacked” often. Don’t always agree with him or his presentation, but I respect his football acumen and opinions.

I don’t even post on here often. I’m not trying to train your sons either. I only want to train kids that parents want me to train them. Pretty sure my kids will run through a wall for their coaches on gameday though and your sons would hate having to play them for 4 quarters. They will not break mentally no matter what and you can bank on that. That’s the standard they have to adhere to even if their head coach doesn’t demand it.

So clear it up for us... does he think he's too good to be asked to camp by the Vols? Does asking him to camp disrespect him somehow? Has he not been asked to camp at OSU? Does he feel disrespected by OSU or any school in which he's been asked to camp?

I agree and support your approach - seems pretty straightforward to me. Those asking some of these questions are keyboard coaches and analysts - the first hand knowledge that you had you shared - and we thank you for that.

He said that was based on him knowing the kids competitiveness though and directly said it wasn't something the kid said or even something they talked about. And he said he's not there anymore and doesn't work with him. You had to know he wouldn't answer since he hasn't answered the other handful of posters who also asked him directly. I'm not trying to defend bb at all but yall wasting yer time.

I agree. He won't answer the question. A kid can be competitive and still be pre-madona (not saying he is). People are making assumptions based on what's being rumored, that he's willing to camp at OSU and others but thinks he's too good/takes offense that he's being asked to camp at UT. I have confidence there are other athletes that are just as good that will want to be Vols and be willing to camp for the opportunity.

Then BB should keep his mouth shut and quit trashing posters. I don't get trashing the kids. I'm an old dude like you so I see these kids as what they are, a bunch of self entitled little immature divas. Not just him but 99% of them. And I don't blame the kids, I blame the adults that put them on that pedal stool.

I also agree that he doesn't really care for the Vols. And I agree that placing the camping as a contingency to get an offer was brilliant on Pruitt's part. Separates the ones that actually want to be Vols from the ones that don't.
