Don't care about comparing him to Tebow. The fact that Clemson also wants him tells me all I need to know. Would be very happy to get him in this class.

Whatever Niedermeyer is telling them works. So he should do more of THAT and leave the other to us VN recruiting experts.

Tebow was a great collegiate QB that found the absolute perfect system for his skill set. He was not a great thrower, however.

Um yeah that happens all the time. Sometimes players are just good in college and not in the NFL. Its not about getting away with anything. Also, what proof is there against the statement that Tebow was a great passer?

He was an effective passer in that system. He was not a great passer. That is not even a hot take or remotely controversial. Even our coaches implied that in their statement to Clark that he was like tebow but could actually throw. Seems like common knowledge to most. If you can't see that I'm not sure you should be judging any QBs we are recruiting.

Lulz. Sure thing. Believe what you want, but actual stats disagree with you. As far as me being a judge, its just my opinion.

Okay urb. Stats show he was effective. Watching him winding up for 3 seconds to an unorthodox throwing motion, to put it kindly, tells me he was not a great passer. That and literally every scouting report ever made on him. But you believe what you want and the rest of the world will disagree with you. I find it weird that our coaches say this kid looks like tebow with better passing abilities and you actually think tebow was a great passer so I would think you would love this kid. But you don't. So the only reason I can see for you not liking him is maybe just the number of stars.

Lol. No offense but I highly doubt you are qualified to say who is a great passer and who isnt. Just like me, you are giving opinions only. But whatever. I think its kind of dumb to even compare any HS player to a college player. Especially not to one of the best college QBs of all time. I know its their opinion. But in my opinion, if we get this guy, dont compare him to anybody. Just let him write his own legacy. Just say hey he looks like a good QB.

I never said I didnt love the kid. His film looks ok. I just feel we could do better. Yes I look at stars, just like every other D1 coach does. You can say you dont but thats likely a lie. If this were Butch and company looking to flip this guy, most on here would be thinking what the hell is he thinking? This guy may turn out to be great. I certainly hope thats the case. But his current offer list is not something to get all excited about.

His film looks great. Super-efficient and the stats back it up. Sabanesque one read and run guy. Doesn’t make mistakes—high completion rate and low interception rate. Perfect for a defensive-minded head coach.

If it was Butch it would still be a Clemson vs. Tennessee battle. Don’t you think the reason other school aren’t throwing their hat in the ring is because they know this kid wants to play in an orange jersey?

I never said I was qualified. That's why I brought up the scouting reports of people who were and what our coaches specifically said. Those are just opinions as well but I would tend to think they would be pretty qualified.
