Clemson and Tennessee have offered and want him badly, he’s Clemson’s top target at QB right now. Notre Dame is after him as well. Seems like a really talented QB who committed too early and his talent is now attracting some of the best programs.

He’s also teammates with William Pritchard, the OL we offered the other day who visited on Friday.

Tennessee Vols football recruiting: Vols QB target Brendon Clark decommits from Wake Forest

He told GoVols247 last month that Tennessee and Clemson were "probably my two backups, just in case anything does happen," although he said at the time that he was "staying solid" in his commitment to Wake Forest.

Clark said last month that he had been in contact with Vols offensive coordinator Tyson Helton and tight ends coach Brian Niedermeyer.

“(Helton) said he really liked me on film, and that Coach Niedermeyer really liked me, and they think I’d be a good fit,” said Clark, who's ranked by 247Sports as the No. 586 overall prospect and No. 17 pro-style quarterback in the 2019 class.

“Coach Niedermeyer said I look like a Tim Tebow that can throw, and I like that. That was probably the first time I've heard that. I think it fits, for sure. I think there’s a lot of other people that are kind of like Tim Tebow that can throw. But I think it’s a compliment, because it involves more of Tim Tebow’s personality.”

Sounds like he wants to wear orange.

Tebow has never been a great thrower. He was such an outstanding college QB because of his leadership, toughness, running ability, very good thrower and he had great players around him.
