To take it at face value means that he hasn't even begun any talks or conversations. I have a hard time believing that. He's keeping it tight...as he should.

Quite honestly, and I may be being a bit cynical, I think it is very possible that the search has just begun. Had DD won out, and I think Hart expected him to, he would have retained him.

At this point, I'm as lost as last year's Easter egg.

I can't imagine that he wasn't talking to folks after the MSU game, but it doesn't really matter. We'll judge him on who he gets, not necessarily the details of how he gets them.
