He is certainly more laid back, I think Bennet needed to play with a chip on his shoulder so to speak. He played very good in big moments, but he doesn’t have the natural talent of the top tier of QBs IMO. Certainly not knocking him, but it’s trueHe’s certainly more humble than Bennett. I actually don’t hate him lol.
I agree. You’re Defense hasn’t been nothing like the last two.Yeah, that’s true. I’m spoiled by the last two years I think. We are not great at setting the edge though. I love Chambliss, but he struggles setting the edge. Although, I must admit that I’m no defensive genius and am not sure of his responsibilities.
True, but sometimes there’s no matching the “want to” factor or chip on a player like Bennett. Last year I thought our D could pressure him, disrupt him. We couldn’t and he ate us alive. That kid just wanted to be at UGA and then ended up being one of the best QBs they’ve ever had .He is certainly more laid back, I think Bennet needed to play with a chip on his shoulder so to speak. My 5yr old son, whom I’m grooming to be a Vol, just said “go red team!” after that td and I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Yeah, if there is such a thing as an it factor that guy had it. Heck it took him helping us win two natties for many UGA fans to admit what you just postedTrue, but sometimes there’s no matching the “want to” factor or chip on a player like Bennett. Man, my baby girl stuck the knife in and went down to that god forsaken school in Tuscalooser. I wanted to vomit. Told me two things: 1) you can lead your kid to college, but you can’t make them think and 2) we have horrible parenting skills. More proof that bad things happen to good people!, that’s hilarious. I mean I understand your anguish, but it’s still funny in the moment. Not to worry, I’m sure he will know all the words to Rocky Top in the near future if he doesn’t already.
