I think most everyone expects him to be at TennesseeView attachment 212704
Has anyone else noticed that 247Sports recruits has him listed as 100% chance of committing to TN? I know this isn't exact but Ohio Sate seems very much still in it. I guess time will tell.
Yeah, the RTI article from @calban is a good one, but Snow's 247 article apparently includes direct quotes from Johnson. And you'd think that Snow would have cb'd Keon somewhere since he just had a conversation with him. That's from a different article on 247
I'm counting on you, Dog, to make sure that comes true! If it's not too much to ask, can you find us one more a la carte 5-star in addition to the expected gains, please.I'm not worried, in fact, I'm already counting Keon and Walker in the '20 class and I expect both will end up 5 stars. Now steal PJ Hall from Florida and get Hayes to reclassify and be a Vol, that class will be almost perfect. I really believe that will be the '20 class, but as chris has pointed out, I'm overly optimist
Not really. When word starts to trickle out about a player's impending commitment, you'll generally see about 6+ crystal balls fall almost all at once. However, there has been only 1 crystal ball for Keon to UT over the last two months. Top recruiting analysts like Brian Snow, Evan Daniels, Evan Flood, Josh Gershon, and others still haven't submitted. The flurry has pretty much already happened.

The countdown is on for Johnson’s public announcement on Aug. 6. He hasn’t let anything slip, and you can’t take anything for granted in recruiting until it’s over, but this one continues to feel like it’s trending in Tennessee’s direction.
I guess I will take the layup here considering Keon Johnson has set an announcement date for August 6th. The high flyer from Tennessee is down to the Volunteers and Ohio State. He's an easy fit for any of them but given his proximity to campus and the success that the Vols are having under Rick Barnes, I see them as his ultimate pick.
