Oh ye of little faith! :biggrin2:
I'll be a little more optmistic. :biggrin2:
All games, at least 10 wins.(I'll back that with $25.00 in the pot). :biggrin2:
Please don't put 6-6 anywhere on a post board that involves the Vols! :biggrin2:
I hate to think the freaking UGA Bulldogs are gonna beat us again! :banghead:

Always REAL...

Admittedly I've got to admit I bought into the NC thing last year. Frankly, I believe we should have been at least top 5.

I'm giving us:

Memphis
Marshall
KY
Vanderbilt
Air Force

Frankly I see no clear favorite in all the remaining games...okay I'll have to say the Hogs are probably a win. But let's remember just how times it seems Ark. has almost had our #.

You could be right only 2 tough games outside the borders of Tennessee should help considerably.

Good to see some are hoping for UT to collapse. I am sure many if not all of our players are thankful for the support.

I see a 10-2 year

In order to have a good season these are all the variables that have to be considered:

Offense
1. Ainge stops overthrowing/underthrowing receivers
2. Replace 4 offensive lineman and get them to play as a unit
3. WR's have to stop dropping passes
4. Find a fullback who can block, CATCH, and NOT FUMBLE

Defense
1. Replace 3 linebackers
2. Replace 3 of 4 starting defensive lineman
3. Pass Defense has to get better, will not have the luxery of the no. 1 run defense/pass rush in the nation.

I think UT has some major personnel issues still on offense. It seems to me the best players off a 5-6 team graduated.

The only real bright spots are at RB position, and the Secondary. The defense does have a good group of young LB's, D-lineman coming up.

On offense most of the players that are responsible for their poor performance i.e. QB, WR, FB, are returning. Offensive line is a question mark.

Its hard to see this team losing less then 4 games IMO.

How is 8-4 a collapse after a 5-6 season?

Correct, Taylor

Funny thing is, I get a kick out of those wanting Fulmer gone thus hoping for a bad season. I am sure the players working their butts off this off-season share your support for them

I suppose you guys who were crying when Buzz Peterson got fired are the "true" UT fans.

I do think Cutcliffe will fix the QB problem and I think Taylor will greatly improve the WR's.

But I wasn't really that impressed with the OL coach and RB coaching hires. OL coach was a standout player at Marshall and he was the OL coach at GA under Donnelly. I'm not sure he is going to be able to turn around the OL with 4 new starters in 1 year thats a tough job for anyone.

The RB coach Fulmer hired hasn't really proven himself anywhere else. I'm not expecting him to light a fire under our FB though someone needs to.

No, not at all.

Anything else?

8 wins for sure, a couple of big home games we need to win, I guess a 9-3 or 10-2 season if we defend our home field.

Lot's of optimism considering that the only SEC school on our schedule who will have a worse team this year than last is Vandy.

The only game I can see them struggling in is the Georgia game. They're running game is pretty good and I dont think that green front seven will be up to the challenge
