Austin Johnson visited South Carolina last weekend. Says it will have to take a coaching change or something major to get him to waiver on his commitment.

I can't speak for what HV thinks but the man will see the field a lot IMO.

He probably will not be a starter, but he'll definitely get PT.

O yeah, he'll definitely play. I'm not sure if he'll start. Ayers, Brown, Martin, Walker, and possibly Donald will have something to say about that.

Think theres any chance he stays at LB? Man, for once Id like to keep a player at there natural position and not move them so we can scheme our defense for speed or whatever it is that Chavis does...

No chance. When we first signed him out of HS and he was practicing with the team, we had him running DE in drills. I highly doubt anything has changed since he has just gotten bigger and stronger.

Not necessarily. Chris Hannon was 6'4". He didn't set the world on fire. Asumnu was 6'5" with good speed and a great vertical and he was never used. Besides, Steven Fowlkes is 6'5" and has said we are going to give him his first shot at WR.

I hope he gets in, and I hope he is a beast. Given the energy and attention that his situation has received, he will have tremendous expectations to live up to.

Fulmer, if you read this I would like you to know that in Giles County Va. There is a place kicker that is booting them 60 yards and he is only a Junior. Weighs 165 and has been taking lessons from the NFL kicking guru that is in a wheel chair. Don't laugh. It's all true. Right now the kid is a Va Tech fan. we need to work on him this and next year.
