2008 Titans

I like the pick of Chris Johnson, in the third round.

No matter how good he turns out to be he would still have been available in the 3rd round. Then again, I wanted to the Titans to get a cornerback, Finnegan's proved me wrong.

He would have gotten picked up in the late 1st, early 2nd. He wasn't some scrub reach like Chris Henry.

This whole season depends on Haynesworth's health. We saw the impact of his absence last year. If he goes out, we might have to start truly outscoring people because our defense will be pedestrian.
I agree.Probably the defensive lineman in the league.

eh....he wouldnt have been there in the 3rd, and really most drafts had him going either a late first like to the cowboys or a mid-2nd before he got to us

he's a pretty good pick-up so far. I feel most of the big controversy with it all was simply that rb didnt seem like the priority need for the team in april and people were hoping for a wr...

Do you think they could be a super bowl team in the next few years?

more than anything, they'll need to work on the wr core. they need some sort of threat there, b/c just having an efficient passing game isnt going to get you a super bowl ring; but they'll be very hesitant about it b/c the franchise has been burned by wrs before, both drafted (joey kent, kevin dyson, and tyrone calico) and free agents (yancy thigpen, carl pickens, and david givens).

They're going to be very cautious...

I never would have thought that 4 weeks into the season the NFC would be the better conference.

Not only is the NFC better right now, but the AFC isn't even really that close. You have the Titans, then a slight drop to the Bills and Chargers, then a big drop off til the next best team which at this point is probably the Jags or maybe the Broncos. The Steelers offense sucks way too bad at the moment for them to have any legitimate shot at a playoff run.

Don't agree with this at all. If the Titans don't grab him, he's gone in the next 10 picks.

Brown looks much improved this year, Our D-line is outstanding with Haynesworth. Without him we would still be top 10. We are better suited to play for a short stint without Haynesworth if needed. Unless some major injury sits him down we will be fine.

Haynesworth is without a doubt a game changer which you have to game plan around. He reminds me a lot of Randle at Minnesota years ago.

I also like the rookie Jones on the DL - he's impressed me so far.. and Ford is getting better at DE.. wouldn't hurt him to put on a bit of weight though.

Wish we had one more corner that was just a pure cover guy - I like our corners.. they're very physical but can cause them to get beat a lot when the D-line doesn't come with that pressure.. Fuller gets beat a lot when we're not in the QBs face.

I can't believe that the Titans are 4-0! Had Young still been in it wouldn't have happened. The defense has made big plays that the offense has capitalized on!

Be honest! You don't know football, you just quoted a couple of lines from a newspaper didn't you?:p

OMG I HATED that guy. Music City Miracle, how bout Jacksonville nightmare, because we knew what was going to happen in 2 weeks after.:good!:

you guys were good that year, just one game too short....or should I say 3 games :)

It really is ironic. I moved here in 97 and fell in love with the Jags.

All of a sudden the Jags Titans were big rivals. My school couldn't beat FU and my NFL team couldn't beat a team from Tennessee.:banghead2:
