2008 Titans

I'm real worried about the game tomorrow. Vikings are basically a mirror image of us. I don't think I could handle two losses for my football teams this weekend. Big game for sure though.

Vikings about to score after the Titans ran all of about 8 seconds off the clock on their previous drive.

23-17. Minnesota has a good shot in this one. They have all their timeouts so the Titans have to do something now.

They really did - the turnovers just killed them... and 2 of their TOs were basically unforced (could make a case for 3). The Titans pass rush was very lacking until late in the game so we made Gus Frerotte look pretty good.

And we weren't going to run much on their two big DTs.

They have four turnovers but they outplayed us? We set back and didn't try to do too much, letting Minnesota take a little bit at a time.

Went to the game today. The Titans aren't flashy, but they are solid. Probaly not enough offense to be a Super Bowl threat, but they won't be easy to eliminate from the playoffs.

I was just going by total yards, because I couldn't watch the game. The Titans could have done a lot better than the numbers showed.

Do you think they could be a super bowl team in the next few years?

They look to have surpassed the Jags for the NFL's nastiest team.

With the way the AFC's looking right now I wouldn't be surprised if they finish with one of the top two records. The key will be the defense's health. They have a great shot to be 6-0 going into their bye week.

Either way, the talent has finally started to catch up to the coaches ability and that is a scary recipe for the rest of the NFL over the upcoming years.

I never would have thought that 4 weeks into the season the NFC would be the better conference.

I'll be the first to admit that I questioned drafting Chris Johnson, but that pick was exactly what this team needed. His speed just gives this offense a gear it didn't have last year. They may not have enough to get to the Super Bowl, but this team won't be shoved out easy like it was last year.

This whole season depends on Haynesworth's health. We saw the impact of his absence last year. If he goes out, we might have to start truly outscoring people because our defense will be pedestrian.
