Is that you bass man bruno. I wondered what happened to you.

We thought the OC was Byron Leftwitch's problem, turned out it was both.:)

Thanks for the laugh man, I needed it.

The Browns were better than the Titans last year. Typically, the Broncos are better and for that matter, so are the Ravens. You can laugh all you want. You just don't want to face the truth.

No one has said they are competing to have the worst record in the league. You better get your head on straight and realize they are mediocre at best. All the stats, records, player for player by position proves it.

take your stats to arena football. Facing the truth is the Titans made the playoffs the Browns did not.

Thank God Tony Dungy forfeited in week 17. I guess Cleveland could have taken care of business against Cincy though. Still, Cleveland has a lot more potential than the Titans

Cleveland's offense is 100000000000000000000000000X more explosive than the Titans. Cleveland's defense is not as good as the Titans, but I never said they would compete for the Super Bowl, they're good enough to make a Wild Card berth. The disparity between the two offenses is insurmountable

The Browns are worthless. One big year from the quarterback and people seem to think they are back and ready to make a run. Their offense won't be as good as last year and they won't make the playoffs.

Good defense is the key in the NFL. With the exception of a few teams those that win it all have solid or great defenses.

Speaking of defense isn't this the last day for the Titans and Haynesworth to work out a deal on the contract?

is it me or do the titans fail at signing their best talent on a regular basis?

Like who? McNair and co. had to go, the franchise had known for a long time the cap was going to bite them but they chose to try to win a championship while the window was there. Odom and LaBoy? The titans would have been crazy to pay what it would have taken to retain them......same thing with Bennett. As far as AH goes, my assumption is that they want to see him play at the level he did last season for one more year. Consistency has always been his problem and I don't blame them for being cautious. They can still sign him to a long term deal after the season or tag him again.

Haynesworth signs for the 1yr 7.25 mill deal w/ incentives that, if he meets them, will not allow them to franchise tag him the next year...didn't say what the incentives were yet

I think the Titans will be pretty good this coming season. Their defense was 5th in the NFL last year and it should be just as good this year. They lost Odom and LaBoy but they signed Kearse and S.Tulloch and M. Griffin should be much improved. Griffin was coming on at the end of the season and should understand his role in his second season. The Titans drafted some defensive lineman that should get playing time too. Chris Johnson adds speed to the team and if nothing else will improve special teams either by returning kicks himself or by forcing Chris Henry into that role. The offense should be improved by their biggest addition, not Alge Crumpler but Mike Heimerdinger. Crumpler will be a big upgrade to the offense and Heimerdinger has already changed Vince Young's footwork, he says it has made a big difference in his accuracy and velocity on his passes. The WR's are better by adding Hawkins and with McCareins returning to the team. Mike Williams, has lost a lot of weight, he might be a factor also. I don't expect them to win a super bowl, don't get me wrong but I can't believe how many people are expecting them to finish below .500.

Vince Young's footwork has improved. I have a friend who has been watching him the past couple of days and he says he has seen an improvement in his footwork. He also thinks it has given him a better touch on the ball. Will this translate to game time, I don't know but it looks like he has made an effort to take the instruction his new OC is giving and has had results.

I still feel that the biggest issue for the team is receiver talent and until they step it up there, they're not going to make it past the divisional round

Lookout for Biren Ealy and Lavelle Hawkins from Cal this year. Hawkins is looking like a stud in TC.

I feel Hawkins could and will become like derrick mason, but like mason he's not going to get good till 5-7 years into his career, and by then the pieces will all be out of place

I was too young to see Mason in his developmental years, but Hawkins reminds me of Wes Welker but more athletic.

They have never had top notch receivers and seem to have been pretty successful. They develop what they have and believe me the receivers will be much better this year.

Speaking of receivers, Alge Crumpler will help a lot by drawing attention as a receiving threat. Also, Chris Johnson has a lot of speed and will be used as a receiver out of the backfield. Those two players should make the other receivers look that much better when they lose the double coverage. Roydell Williams is coming off and injury so that's a setback but they add Hawkins, Brandon Jones is healthy again and Mike Williams might actually make the team and contribute after his weight lose. Also, Biren Ealy will be on the field this year and they added Justin McCareins. Justin Gage is still their top receiver coming into this season.
