Here's a secret: there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

So you are a die-hard fans of three teams, all who have a strong history of cheating. BWAHAHAHA! Tell your boy Barry Bonds I said hello.

Absolutely hilarious that the fan of the school Bill Yeoman coached at is ridiculing others for sanctions.

BSU has a one-game play-in (VaTech) to the BCSCG. If they get past VaTech, no other team should come within ten points of 'em the rest of the year. An undefeated BSU is a shoo-in for the BCSCG; pollsters want to avoid any opportunity for Congress to meddle in college football. IMO BSU is capable of beating any team on a given day. So my first choice is BSU.

Florida, OSU, Texas, OK, and Alabama are all good choices.

Great Scott! You had to go back 24 years to call out the University of Houston football program. Nice try, Doc.

Your program (in italics because you are a bandwagon fan) gave Reggie Bush $280 grand in illegal benefits. How ****ing embarrassing is that? Let me borrow your time machine for a minute to lay out for you: In 1987, the NCAA gave SMU the "Death Penalty" (which they still haven't recovered from) for providing about a dozen players $61k in illegal benefits. That still only amounts to somewhere around $108,253 in today's dollars. I never thought it could be done, but USC has now topped to Pony Expre$$.

P.S. Care to talk about Barry Switzer at OU? You're pathetic for trying to call out UH and a coach most well-known for integrating university athletics. You can have your time machine back now.

SMU had a freakin' slush fund that was paying guys to go to school there. Reggie Bush was already a superstar in college when he received the benefits from a couple of dudes who had no association with the USC program whatsoever. That's a completely ridiculous comparison. What about Switzer? You want to talk about his three national titles? I just find it amusing that the fan of a school that's been on probation has the temerity to ridicule another school. It's tantamount to Jenna Jameson ridiculing Tera Patrick for being looser than a hula hoop on a scarecrow. Bill Yeoman didn't integrate college athletics; Sam Cunningham did.

Argue all you want, junior. What went on at USC is an embarrassment.

Double trouble lands USC atop era's cheat sheet - CBSSports.com

There have been dirtier college football programs. Southern Methodist with its Pony Expre$$ comes to mind. Oklahoma and all the hell that was breaking loose under Barry Switzer. Almost any of the schools coached by Jackie Sherrill.

There have been dirtier college basketball programs. Kentucky in the late 1980s with bulging Emery envelopes and bogus SAT test scores. California with Todd Bozeman. Baylor and that serpent, Dave Bliss.

But there has never been a dirtier combination of college football and college basketball programs, at the same time, than the Southern California Trojans.

This is the most scandalous athletic program of this era. And that's saying something. So the question to ask right now is not this one: Who should be fired at USC?

The question is this:

Who shouldn't?

Yeah, nothing says embarrassing like those two Sears trophies and those three Heismans. I'd hate to see what a program that everyone in L.A. could be proud of would achieve.

Congrats on two trophies that the NCAA doesn't recognize.

To be the champion in this era you actually have to play in the BCS championship game.

If your team ever gets there again, they probably shouldn't field professional athletes. That's a no-no.

Tennessee BCS Championships: 1
SoGay BCS Championships: 0

The AP, which is just as credible and has been around longer than the BCSuck, has bestowed two national championships upon USC. USC hammered Oklahoma in the BCS title game in '04. That's one BCSuck title, and two AP titles. I guess a paucity of basic counting skills can be added to your assuredly putrid dossier, as well.

No use in arguing with him, Orange Pearl. Just let him enjoy his Sears and Heisman trophies, regardless of how they were obtained. Morality and playing the game the right way aren't big on the Left Coast. In the end, as stated previously, the joke is on USC. Athletically, the school has some great traditions, however, cheating is the biggest of them all.

They are getting better, but I don't think they are quite there yet.

I've heard that for the last few years. the only bad loss they had last year was to VA Tech. If they get by VA Tech this year, I think they have a pretty good shot. Harris is beast.

It will not be an SEC team this year. I think an SEC team will make it, but ultimately lose. Texas will have a down year because Mack feels like he is sitting pretty with a 5 mil check.

The ACC will field some good teams, but may suffer from too tough of a conference syndrome, being a poor man's SEC.

Based on all that, the real players are: The best ACC team, Ohio State, and Bama.

I forgot I made this thread, so I had to follow up with some wild predictions. So there you go.

USC cheated to land Anthony Munoz? Bruce Matthews? How about Ronnie Lott, Joey Browner, Mark Carrier, Junior Seau, Marcus Cotton, Marcus Allen, O.J. Simpson, Anthony Bell, Keyshawn Johnson, Dennis Smith, Dennis Thurman, Brad Budde, Rob Johnson, Rodney Peete, Todd Marinovich, Dwayne Jarrett, Steve Smith, Mike Williams, Fred Davis, Dominique Byrd, LenDale White, Sam Baker, Ryan Kalil, Deuce Lutui, Travis Claridge, Winston Justice, Mark Sanchez, Carson Palmer, Pat Haden, Lynn Swann, Tony Boselli, Troy Polamalu, Lofa Tatupu, Shaun Cody, Mike Patterson, Lawrence Jackson, Sedrick Ellis, Kenechi Udeze, Matt Leinart, John David Booty, Keary Colbert, Rey Maualuga, Clay Matthews, Brian Cushing, Keith Rivers, Oscar Lua, Darnell Bing, Matt Grotegooed, Willie McGinest, Chris Claiborne, Terrell Thomas, Cary Harris, Eric Wright, Josh Pinkard, Damian Williams, Taylor Mays, Kevin Ellison, and the slew of other NFLers they've produced over the years? Were they cheating when John McKay and John Robinson were winning national championships? How about Howard Jones?

Jealousy's a terrible thing.
