Novak is playing fearless tennis and it is a beautiful thing to watch. No fear of failure and he swings away with a free conscience. Must feel nice.

I don't think Federer can derail Novak right now, but I'm not prepared to say Roger has zero chance. Anytime Federer takes the court he has a chance. But, I get your point. This is Djokovic's time to shine and no one seems capable of stopping him.

So, with Fed-Djoker being a foregone conclusion, the better question is Can Soderling bring his A game against Uncle Toni and Rafa? I say no, but only because it all depends on what Rafa brings tomorrow. He has looked very beatable, but does this continue so close to trophy time?

Apparently Murray has an injury to his ankle tendon. Doesn't sound good for his already limited chances.

I got Fed on Friday. I don't really have a logical reason other than I think he's got some magic left. So, in other words, I fall directly into the group kidbourbon describes above.

Murray v. Nadal; Federer v. Djokovic. What a semi-finals at Roland Garros.

How many people had a Murray v. Federer final?

I hope both of these semis carry the same level of intensity and play that the Federer/Del Potro semi had in 2009. I feel flu like symptoms coming on. Should be here by Friday.

Just stay away from your local bookmaker and you'll be good. :)

BTW, the actual ML for the match is this:
-Djokovic -300
-Federer -240

...just as I suspected it was more skewed towards Fed than the line I would have set. And so I put a smaller wager on the djoker.*

*I mean, of course, I would have if gambling were legal in this country.

I think this one plays out as expected. Andy Murray beat The Great Great Rafa Nadal in the French Open semifinals? Color me hypercolored skeptical.

It may be silly, but I'd just as soon not see Super Brat's record tied tomorrow.

Looks like Murray-Nadal up first at 8:00 am EST tomorrow (Tennis Channel) and Djoker-Federer up second (live stream on NBC website).

Live coverage begins on NBC @ 11:00 a.m.

Nadal's game today is no where near enough to hold back Djokovic right now. Nadal is cheering for Federer in this next semi.

Nadal clearly did enough to beat an incompetent Murray today, but he just seems out of sorts in ways I've never seen. Can't ever remember Nadal double-faulting on a break point.

I'm pulling for Federer but I say Djokovic in three, maybe four if Federer is playing well. Of course, IF Federer somehow pulled this match out, they can go ahead and start engraving the trophy for Uncle Toni's nephew.

I was thinking Roger might serve notice in the first set that he's not done just yet. He's starting well, anyway.

Great opening set.

Surprised that Federer is content to let Djokhole be the aggressor.

This match is as good as it gets in tennis. Reminds me of the 5 set Wimbledon final between Rafa and Fed a few years ago. That was the first year Rafa won there.

These appear to be the two best in this tourney.

I get the feeling Djoke is eventually realize the stage he is playing on and start plying again. He should.
