@AdamSchefter Reggie Wayne re-signing a three-year deal with Colts. Agreement reached.

Surprising.

Edit: Burhead beat me to it.

$50 million for 5 years.

Reggie Wayne re-signed with Indy on a 3 year deal.

Slightly surprised the colts went after Wayne again...could that possibly be because they couldn't resign garçon?

Just for comparative purposes, what was finnegan's previous contract? (if anyone even knows)

For sure, Garcon turned down 5 mil per year from the Colts. Not sure what Wayne's contract is.

True #1 receivers aren't easy to come by. Congrats on keeping Wayne. That was a big resigning.

Yea that's very big for this team. He will be a leader in the locker room and teach Luck how it's done. I know he has lost a step but he is still an elite WR

This has to help us and hurt Denver. Denver doesn't really have that great of a WR corp and could have used Wayne.

@JasonLaCanfora: RT @ChargersPRguy: Chargers agree on 4-yr contract with former Saints WR Robert Meachem. 1st rd choice in 07...6-2, 210...40-620, 6TDs, 15.5 avg in '11.

Meachem can replace V-Jax. As much love as V-Jax gets, he was only good on the deep ball. Way overrated.

Eric Wright to Tampa. The Bucs had a boatload of cap space and are spending it.

Any news on interest in Vince Young? :birgits_giggle:

Did the Bears know about the recent Marshall fight on Sunday night before they traded for him? With his history, he might get a length suspension from the commish. If they didnt know, thats funny.

Carl Nicks to the Bucs. The Bucs are winning FA right now. We all know that means little, though.

@AdamSchefter Tampa Bay reached agreement with former Saints guard Carl Nicks on a five-year, $47.5 million deal including $31 million guaranteed.

I saw a very good quote from someone yesterday, some thing like "the teams who win in March don't play in January"
