Yup. Joe is going to turn into a great pg, but his family has turned Josh off of recruiting a bunch of Memphis kids. From the transfer drama to the relatives coming out of the stands, that stuff simply messes with team chemistry.

And I'm sorry that that's where I read this interview or saw it, I'm just relaying the message I could care less if you believe it or not. As I've said pastner was all over him in the beginning, he may have cooled recently and that could be the reason for them no longer being in his top schools. But to suggest that pastner didn't want him is asinine.

I said that you 2 said pastner hand picks his guys basically and you said I've never said that, well you actually said "cherry picks" his own players. It's the same meaning my friend.

Go back to your original disagreement with me...I said Memphis was all over him in the beginning and definitely wanted him. You started asking for links to where this was said... Then when I told you what the interview said now you're saying tell me where I said memphis didn't want him.

Hubbs' family scratched Memphis off because they thought Pastner wasn't paying enough attentiong to Robert. I don't know where you get that "Pastner was beating his door down" (other than a mystery article you read on Scout/Rivals which you conveniently can't post here.)

Just stick to the facts, ma'am.

Yes that is the interview I read/heard, from hubbs mouth that Memphis was recruiting him very hard. As I said maybe that's changed I haven't stated otherwise but in the beginning pastner was on him hard. By the way I seem to remember you claiming Memphis as the leader for Hubbs within the last few months????

But please tell us all how UT isn't one of the top schools for Nichols? Or how chievous was/is indefinitely suspended and will be gone at years end???

Memphis was a leader for Hubbs a long time ago. I'm not going through this again, just go back and read what I've written. He was high on Memphis a few months ago doesn't mean jack right now.

How long ago was that? We had a completely different conversation about this in this very thread last week.

Do you just bring stuff like this up to take heat away from the fact that you don't really know too much about basketball recruiting? From Fabyon Harris to Charles Mitchell to the next guy, you obsess over these kids and when they go elsewhere or turn out not to even have an offer from UT, you look ridiculous.

I may have made some statements about who is leading at a given time for a given prospect, and they were true. But recruiting changes and a favorite one day isn't a favorite the next, necessarily.

The two commitments that I've predicted on this site I have predicted 100% correct though. Stokes and Duane Wilson.

Please tell me more though about how Memphis leads for hubbs and jw3 and UT isn't a top 3 school for Nichols. Those were all real winners...

Better yet tell me more about chievous broken nose and jaw and how he was indefinitely suspended yet practicing with the team??? Oh and how he was going to be dismissed at the end of he year as well I believe you said.

At the time I said all of those things regarding the recruits they were true. Even someone with a menial grasp of sports such as yourself must understand that recruiting changes quickly.

As for Cheivous, he had his jaw fractured by Stokes in a physical practice, and Cheivous was taken to UT Hopsital that night. They were arguing over Memphis v. Chicago stuff and Stokes was repping Memphis, like a boss. Cheivous started the fight and was suspended indefinitely for it. He was not seen, even at basketball games, for several weeks after this fight, even VN posters confirmed this. Cheivous' suspension was lifted at some point and by the SEC tournament, roughly 3.5 weeks after the fight, he was practicing with the team again.

Now tell us all again how UT "has a chance to get to the tournament" or how Charles Mitchell is a UT lean (which you were corwing up to the time he signed with Maryland). The other UT fans on this site undertand that you go overboard with this stuff.

Do you have OCD? This is an honest question.

You mentioned Memphis as hubbs favorite about a month ago or so, that was false.

Actually no you're lying nobody on thi board confirmed that about chievous, they simple said I haven't seen him. Infact, one poster who's seats were in the LL endzone said he was present at every game. Also, a few posters who are students said they saw him that same week with no marks. This includes thesame student who informed me of Stokes wrist injury, before anyone else knew of it, so he has no reason to lie. Also, Youve been disproven multiple times bu the posters on here with medical backgrounds about the recovery and process Of this injury. It's funny you're the ONLY person saying your version is the true one.

UT did have a chance to make the tournament as an at large up until they lost to ole miss. Please continue saying they had no chance at an at large though, you're really cracking the rest of us up.

Also I don't remember saying Mitchell was a UT lean right up to his committment to Maryland. Care to post where I said that??? Although I'm sure you won't so I'm not sure why I even asked...

The word is CHERRY! And I probably said that 4 months ago in an infuriating argument with you. It's not how I feel now (although what I posted in there is still pretty accurate), but I said it at the time.

I gave you too much credit, assuming you were referring to the recruiting conversation on the topic of Pastner and city kids we had a few days ago, not at the turn of the new year. I won't credit you that in the future.

The reason you get under everyone's skin around here is your fixation on a given subject. First, you're gloating that UT was going to the tournament when it wasn't set in stone yet (and about which I tried to warn you). Then, it's the Nichols recruitment. You act like he's already signed an LOI with UT. Now, it's Hubbs and an obsession with him, even though his recruitment is wide open now and UT isn't the favorite.

Is it just because these are Memphis kids and this falls in line with your Memphis/Pastner obsession?

1. I NEVER said UT was going to the tounament, if I did I'll wait for that link???

2. I've not said Nichols is a UT lock one single time, if I have I'll also wait on that link???

3. I've yet to be "obsessed" with hubbs recruitment and have not one time said that UT is his favorite. Once again I'll wait on that link???

Please don't respond until you can back up those 3 statements you made, because YOU are the one that apparently has the issue with putting word in people's mouths.
