Is it just me or is the distribution of 2013 recruits a little hard to understand? On the Johnson team Austin Nichols is the top ranked 2013 recruit at #10 while the other team has the #2, #3, #4 and #6 selections. Now granted Wiggins is on Nichols team but still looks a tad unbalanced to me. Thoughts?

He actually wasn't competing, he had posted on twitter gettin ready for dunk contest and had a picture of his shoes, I assumed that meant he was partaking.

Very tough to judge skill in a setting like this, and Nichols, early on, has looked uncomfortable. Has a couple uncontested dunks early. Looks to be outclassed a little physically.

Yea this definitely isn't a game for the post guys, sloppy and non stop turnovers. Very hard to judge a post in a game like this, however he has ran the floor surprisingly well given the flow. This is completely a game of for guards and wings however.

I fully expected him to run the floor well as that is a strength of his game.

Yea I just figured he ran good for bigs, I mean he's out there running well with guards and wings, I was pretty impressed. Even with that though, game is way too up and down for even him.

Agree. The fundamental things he does well will not be showcased in this format.

This was the worst I maybe have ever seen. Made the RTL look like a CCM coached defensive camp. There was NO defense.

It was just an elite level of the RTL and Bluff City Classic. I don't even bother watching more than 5 minutes.

Same here. Not even really entertaining. Honestly, had Nichols not been playing, I would have watched anything else.

Austin would have looked better if he had just quit trying to get back on defense. Most of the "highlights" we're guys getting dunks off cherry picking.

That's it right now. The surprising news here is that it was rumored September 15th for the Florida game would be his and hubbs OV, apparently not. Kind of surprised he's gonna miss that game in general, not just the OV.

That he'll be in on October 20th instead.

But IMHO, at this point, I wouldn't put too much stock into an in home visit. I'm sure we'll get one but I still believe he is Martin's to lose and with how aggressive he's been in this recruitment, he probably has the kid sold. I think he takes these other visits just to see if anything else is out there and to get a feel for the other places but I think we lead. We'll for sure get an OV because of course this kid wants to see another UT football game. I thought the Florida game made the most sense so maybe he'd rather see the Bama game? It's apples to oranges when his OV to Duke is against Virginia and his OV to Virginia is against Penn State. Who cares who Candy plays...

I find it weird that UT hasn't finalized any OV dates yet. Have any OV dates for any recruits been released for UT?
