So k leaves Nichols house Tuesday night after being told he's committed to Tennessee...stays the night in Memphis...and then returns to briarcrest Wednesday to watch Nichols practice???

Doesn't seem likely to me, that makes sense to you?

It's possible, I'm just not buying it. Being in a in home and having a kid tell you I'm committed I've made up my mind is pretty convincing. K is recruiting many others, and nobody in Memphis, seems like he would've benefited more from leaving and pushing hard for someone else.

I'm also factoring in the site reporting this is quoting a message board poster, so that's basically as reliable as the Hale story, ad we see how that turned out. I'm also going by Austin himself denying these rumors, and Rob Lewis saying as recent as this morning Austin is still scheduled for his Duke visit.

Do I think Nichols is a vol, most likely. Do I think he has committed and informed all parties? No. My gut still says he visits duke, then UT and will committ soon after his visit, if not during. The only hiccup now is does he do the ESPN deal, they want him to, and if he does an announcement won't be made until November.

He didn't commit. If no reputable sources are reporting it, then it's not true. Just like Hubbs didn't commit during the Olympics, and just like Shannon Hale never flipped from Bama. We probably will get him, but we haven't yet. Nichols himself has said that he hasn't committed anywhere on twitter.
