But if the flow of information doesn't change, why would they change their predictions? Wasn't Nichols a Tennessee prediction until the word "Memphis" came out of his mouth?

Very true, and there's been a few recent ones as well that the crystal ball has been off on. However, Nichols didn't have an announcement date, he just all of a sudden announced. With an actual date information seems to leak out a day before the announcement typically.

I liked the idea, but to be fair to them, it was off topic. I bet you could post it in the recruiting (mostly Football) forum and be good. More people there use twitter anyway.

I bet it's a tease with how quiet he's been.

Still, I hope Vol reporters are using their sources around Duke (if they have any) to try to give us the info. It is/would be kind of silly to have to pay for a Duke recruiting site to get good Looney recruiting info when you're a UT fan.

I think Tennessee has a solid chance but I'm not going to pretend like I know what's going to happen.

I can tell you for sure that Tennessee thinks they are still in it. Not that they lead or anything, but that they are certainly still involved and a factor.

I had a friend who is a Duke fan look up the article. Duke insider don't think he goes to Duke. Its down to MSU and TN. Apparently he didn't have a good visit to Duke.
