2014 F Kevon Looney

I had a friend who is a Duke fan look up the article. Duke insider don't think he goes to Duke. Its down to MSU and TN. Apparently he didn't have a good visit to Duke.

I would be shocked if that is the case. I would love to read the article if your friend can email it to you and you copy and paste the highlights if possible

Not true. Had a buddy check it out. As a 247 member you can read replies to thread but not the article. One mod was questioned about who leads for Looney. His reply said that they believe he ends up at Duke but nothing from the Looney family. In the same reply he said he didn't know who leads for Looney.

They are guessing.

The more this builds up just seems like he's really going to shock some people. Duke insiders don't seem ultra confident. Even coming out of his visit. I know he doesn't reveal much just seems odd.

Unless he really is a Duke lean, the crystal balls mean nothing. He hasn't given away any details, so if I were working for 24/7 and had no idea where he's leaning, I'd probably say Duke by default.

Again, I don't think anyone outside the family knows where he's leaning, and I'm not saying I think he's leaning one way or another. However, my SPECULATION is that between us, Duke, and MSU, I think we have more than a 33% chance.

I do apologize. It wasn't the article that said that it was a duke basketball message board. He told me wrong earearlier tonight.

On the recruiting front all eyes remain on Kevon Looney. The five-star forward is finished with his official visits after returning from a trip to UCLA and is scheduled to make an announcement next Thursday.

Any kind of firm information on which way Looney may be leaning remains infuriatingly hard to come by. All of our digging, however, strongly suggests to us that Tennessee is most definitely still in the hunt here but Looney is giving nothing away to anyone.

I still think he ends up a Vol. I think the family ties he has with Tennessee wins out.

I think people are putting too much weight into the his dad being from Tennessee. Yeah I might help some, but the reason we are in his final cut is because of the work CCM has put in.

This is very true. Yea his dad I'd from East Tennessee, however he has very little family remaining here. He does have family in North Carolina and the Los Angeles area as well.

Family ties may be the reason he was first interested, but I agree, if he chooses UT Coach Zo deserves most of the credit.
