2014 F Kevon Looney

Yea idk if you heard but lebron's mom is also moving to Tennessee. Since lebron never went to college he's eligible, and is enrolling at UT before the start of the season. This is a great get for Zo.
I know this is a joke, but how epic would it be to see someone like Tracy McGrady who never played college basketball at UT? Is it even possible if a retired NBA player wanted to? It probably violates the competitive spirit, and they'd have to be washed up, but still. This will be my recruiting strategy if I ever become a coach. :p

On topic: Choose UT Looney!

No not possible. Once you've gone professional you can't play that sport in college.

Hey BTO, what's your email? I talked to an assistant on Pearl's staff for about an hour tonight. I don't wanna get into specifics on here, but he had some interesting things to say about the current roster and I respect your what you bring to the board, so I wanna share.

Sorry guys, If BTO wants to share the info (not by name) that's cool, but I don't want to disrespect the guy and post a personal convo online.

Hmm interesting. So does he know anything about where he's leaning?

Yes. I asked my brother where was he leaning since everything is pointing toward Duke. It was like pulling teeth but he finally told me that he's leaning toward Tennessee. He said that Michigan State looks good to him because he was sitting right there when the coach told him "with your talents, if you let us work with you, you can be one and done." He told me that Looney really wants to go to NBA, but his mother is very big on education and will probably try to keep him from being a one and done player.

I really hope you're right because if not the backlash will not stop. Thanks for the info though

You can obviously understand being skeptical, but appreciate the info and hope like hell you're right!

Yea I would be too. I'm normally in the football forums but I decided to come here. I saw the kids name and that's what made me click this thread because I knew the kid was on my brothers team. I hope like hell I'm right too.

Get ready fot the Orange to shine brightly on the 31st.

Referring to Jayvaughn Pinkston committing to TN. Scheduled a press conference to announce and cancelled it the day after Tobias' surprise visit. It was just a very good sign that Tobias was going to commit.

I wasn't insinuating that one of the current commits to decommit. Just remembering the first true sign Tobias was going to commit.

And have another 4* recruit decommit the minute he showed up.

Are you talking about JayVaughn Pinkston? He was a heavy lean, but I don't think he committed. Most knew it was one or the other and few felt that they could coexist if they both wanted to come. I'm glad we got Tobias though.
