He wanted to announce this in front of his family and friends, though. The school or anyone saying that he can't announce at an assembly makes me think he won't announce today. Just wouldn't be as exciting to be sitting at home and tweet it out. You want people to be there enjoying the moment with you.

That is, if this isn't a coverup like Bruin says.
