With Wichita state the last couple years? Sure, go ahead.

He has confirmed offers from multiple big programs, and more are coming. Flame him if you want, but he'd be a solid pickup.

Rivals hasn't rated him, ESPN hasn't rated him and 247 has him a composite 275.
You watch one highlight film and he's a solid pick up if Marshall offered him.
LOL

Not at all what I said. Ask people about him and don't go off rankings solely, for your own opinion.

When multiple high majors have offered, are all those coaches morons that don't know what they're doing, or are rivals and ESPN maybe a bit late?

I remember these same comments about Thompson

May be some complaining about Thompson but I don't remember much...I think most were just happy Landry was being replaced. I love Darius potential but we tend to get carried away around.....the guy is just avg 3 points and 2 assists per game.

In limited action.

Watch what his numbers will be going forward, assuming he continues to start.

Funny how things change.
Few weeks ago we were talking about how important it was to recruit rated talent when building a program.
I brought up Witchy (neglected to mention Marshal) and their final 4 and was laughed off the board.
Oh we'd much rather have our program, Witchy only dances every ten years.
All of a sudden unrated players are great.

6'4/190
Chatham, IL
Glenwood High School

Just picked up a Tennessee offer. Has offers from Texas A&M, St. Joseph's, Wichita State, Bradley, and Butler.

He is friends with Larry Austin also.

Can shoot the lights outs, and can play a little PG. Decent athlete and a hard worker, has really taken off his senior year. A consensus top 300 player.

Not bad - notice the mid majors always get the great 3 point shooters - this is a good move by UT -- get some decent 3 shooters

And he's still not there, reason being the lateral quickness that I mentioned in that original post, that you quoted?

Has he played 30 minutes a night at PG yet? If so I've missed it.

LMAO......I almost spit my drink out over that one.......I see Bruin isn't the only one who argues both sides of the issue.

You don't see the difference?
Really or are you just F'n with me?

Seen any stats on allen or are you taking someone's word that he's a pure shooter.
MaxPreps only gives his 10-11 11-12 stats.
Not a pure shooter back then
------------
Found out a little more about him.
Down this season because of injuries.
Probably why he didn't get rated.
Austin's excited about it. Might not be bad to have a Peyton and a cofer on the same team.
Still need a big though.

He's playing this season.

And Pancratz who has watched plenty of film on the kid was pretty dang complimentary of the kid, and really complimented his shooting ability.

Is now. According to 247 he's coming off an injury and doing well.

Correct. And has grown which has attracted more attention.

Like I edited above, pancratz thinks pretty highly of the kid, and I put a lot of stock into his opinion. Add that to the other things I've heard and I think he'd be a solid addition.

You seem to think adding allen means no big, that's not the case.

They've got the scoop on him on 247 if anyone's a member.
Read thru some of his twitter. Injury must have been pretty serious.

Huh?

I assumed your "save the scholly" comments were in reference to saving the scholly for a big, no?

Thought I made it pretty clear I was conceding the Allen recruitment.
If we're going mid major might as well do it in style with the Peyton/Cofer show.
