Why is this post being ignored?

You do realize that it was posted around 11:30 and its before 9 AM.....the only two that's posted is u and calban....gotta give people time.

I have read every article on this kid that I can find and he looks like a good 3 pt shooter but not a lights out three pt shooter. I read the article on Roy visiting him and Roy said that they already had enough all- American athlete types and he felt they needed a 3 pt shooting specialist so he was going to check him out. That's our main problem.....we have two borderline top 100 recruits but no solid top 100 recruits.

I wish someone could find his AAU stats, I feel that can be telling at times.

Mixed feelings about this. Sure, we don't seem to have elite recruits, and I have no idea if he can hold his own in the SEC. But part of the problem in the CCM era has been a lack of a shooter. At this point, I think I would maybe take a shooter over athleticism. Not sure if Cornish fits that category. Teams like Creighton can just flat out shoot the ball and beat people.

It would be interesting to see how many people complaining about taking this kid are also the same posters complaining about our inability to hit open shots. It can't be both ways.

Yes I do.
You don't think we're becoming one of the other mid majors in the SEC?
Look at our bench.

I didn't say that. You just lumped Allen and Cofer together in a previous post and I just assumed your stance on Cofer had changed. That's all.

I also believe the 4 recruits we are bringing in are SEC caliber. So our bench should be much improved.

It comes down to would you rather have another athletic wing or would you rather have a consistent 3 point shooter which this team lacks other than Jordan. The answer is easy to me. I'll take what we don't have.

Teams need shooters. We don't have any. I have no problem with us signing one. You need role players too.

We have 1 returning forward on the roster for next season.
Cofer and Turman will be freshman starters with the same 3s backing them up again.

No one will be complaining if this kid is lights out three PT shooter...... there are questions whether he will be.

Next year will be a lot like martins first year.

Govols247 has it number 46......rivals out of top 30.......seems like everyone thinks its a pretty avg class.....good may be a stretch.

Idk man. I watch film of our guys and think they are pretty good. Austin is a good point guard. Cornish needs a year to develop probably but he looks like a good wing for the future. Cofer and turman look to be solid rebounders and shot blockers. I don't think it's as bad as some people think. Again, jmo
