2014 UT-UF analysis?

I keep hearing how awful Drskel is and I know their fans hate him, but I just cant help but think back to how well he played right before my eyes in Neyland two years ago. Dude was on fire, running, throwing, scrambling, and torched us all night long. Apparently, that was the best game of his career. Just our luck.

I don't give UF a snowflake's chance in hell of beating Alabama but yes, I will root for them.

2. I think keeping Muschamp around longer at UF is a good thing for us.

I keep hearing UT fans talk about keeping Muschamp around, but he's 3-0 against you.

If he makes it 4-0, you better hope they can him and find someone you can beat.

As for 2014, our game will be decided by which Jeff Driskel shows up...2013 Miami Driskel or 2012 FSU Driskel.

Frankly, the fact that Driskel has played in so many huge SEC games and in so many huge road games, should worry Vols fans. He's won in Tallahassee, already won in Knoxville, he's won in College Station against a Heisman-winning Manzeil. He's racked-up a helluva lot of experience over 3+ seasons now.

My analysis of this game:

UT should probably win this game, just like they should have won in 2012.

They probably wont win because they inexplicably lose to Florida unless Ron Zook is their head coach or we win a national championship.

In the last 20 years or so the winner of this game is usually the team that rushes for the most yards with the exception of the 2000 game. The battle has to be won up front. We need to be nasty up front and our DL needs to get after the QB and hit the RB every chance they get. I think our OL finds a way to open some holes and the explosiveness of Hurd and Lane get things done.

If the former UT/Duke coach can give the Gator's offense a pulse.... The Gators will win by a couple of TDs because of line play from both teams.
