2016 NFL Draft Thread

I'm down, Henry + Murray. Let's get it.

I think he's likely to be Trent Richardson failure but I want to believe.

Bad value pick by the Titans. They should have waited til a late round to take a back, they're all the
same anyway and only last 4 years at best. :eek:lol:

You still dont get it, but thats OK. BTW, I haven't heard any criticism of that pick in the last two days
except for what I've seen in this thread.

Good player. Too high. Other needs. Bad pick. He´s a back.

-Pete Prisco (Grade: D)

Dan Kadar, SB Nation: There's no mistaking that Elliott is one of the draft's best players. He's a complete running back who can do everything. But this is high for a running back, especially when you have Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden on the roster. Sure, they're not world beaters or superstars like Elliott, but having them is a waste of money. Still, Elliott should be the Offensive Rookie of the Year front runner. With Elliott along with quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant, they have their new Triplets. Grade: B+

Mike Tanier, Bleacher Report: Elliott will be a blast to watch and a nightmare to defend behind the Cowboys offensive line. The problem is that Elliott may be overkill. The difference between him and a committee won't matter much if the Cowboys are allowing 30 points per game. Grade: C

Mark Maske, The Washington Post: The Cowboys clearly are convinced that Elliott is a special running back and his presence will allow them to recreate what they had two seasons ago with DeMarco Murray. But productive NFL runners can be drafted long after the fourth overall selection. If Jalen Ramsey ends up being great, the Cowboys could regret not taking advantage of the gift they were given when he fell to them. Grade: B.

Yep, just here.

I said I havent "heard" any, are you listening to those publications?

The problem is that you are talking vanilla draft logic, and I'm talking specifically about the Dallas
Cowboys. Its likely they wanted Bosa, then tried to trade down and got no takers.

Here ya go, read it for yourself. I'm done talking to this brick wall. BTW, I fixed your post for you,
and you call that criticism? LOL

Cowboys love Ezekiel Elliott, could try to trade down and still get him | ProFootballTalk
