@JonHeyman: The Pirates wished Nick Lodolo, No. 41 pick, well and the lhp will go to TCU, bucs offered $1.75M, essentially the max.

That seems like a ridiculous amount to pass up. Even if you fail in the minors, you are taken care of in life by signing that and being smart with your money.

When I 1st glanced at your post I thought you said "Cubs" instead of "Clubs" so I thought 5 Cubs players from the top 10 rounds hadn't signed yet. I was like what the crap! LOL!

Wow. That's a lot of money to turn down. TCU just got a lot better though.
