No problem guys. Looks like all the Florida kids signed as of today. Shore and Anderson inked deals this morning.

As many premium arms as UF had this season, their weekend rotation next season may feature as many as 3 future first rounders. Faedo, if he stays healthy, will very likely be a high first round pick in 2017 while Singer and Kowar will, with normal development, look to be first round talents in 2018.

One of the biggest sr signs bonuses I can recall

@jimcallisMLB: 5th-rder Donnie Walton inks w/@Mariners, $125k (pick 147 = $379k). Oklahoma St senior SS, makeup off charts, will play in big lgs. @MLBDraft

Baseball America"s database lists the Marlins, Mets and Red Sox as not having signed their first round picks. I thought I read that the Red Sox came to terms with the pick, but it is not listed in the database. Senzel has the highest signing bonus.

2016 MLB Draft: Draft Signings Tracker - MLB Daily Dish

3 1st rounders haven't signed yet plus one supplemental pick in the 1st round as well. What's the cutoff date for signings? I can't remember. I was thinking it was 2 months or so after the draft.

I hope we don't have anymore Brady Aiken type deals for any players ever again. That was a mess! Now, he's with Cleveland.

I hope he makes it to the big leagues & tears it up. Astros you screwed up there. I think baseball should have laid a big 'ol fine & other penalties on you for that fiasco. I know Aiken's agent wasn't exactly pleasant to deal with either but this stuff shouldn't happen.

As it turns out, the Astros were correct with their concern.

They shouldn't have drafted him & created that huge fiasco if they had concerns about him. It's a given rule you don't draft players that you have serious concerns about.

Whether it be physical, mental, or off the field issues. You let them go & slide down to whichever team wants to take that chance. This was the #1 overall pick & it's on them to do their homework!

They're the ones that screwed up. Not Aiken or any other team. It was the Astros! They didn't handle it the right way either! That's an even bigger problem for them!

It wasn't a concern until he had his physical after he was already drafted.

I do think it would be smart to do those physicals before the draft though. Same thing happened to RA Dickey after he was drafted by the Rangers.

Exactly! Then, since they didn't ask or require for that physical it turned into just a big mess after the draft was over.

How is Aiken doing for Cleveland farm system? Do you have any idea? I can look it up but thought I'd ask you 1st. Thanks!

Definitely not pitching too well. He's just so young though at 19 years of age. If his arm can recover & he treats his arm & body right I think he will be in the big leagues one day. I mean he was as clear cut a #1 overall pick with his stuff since Chipper back in what 1990?

I hope he can make it to MLB level one day. I don't care which team it may be with either. His stuff before the arm injury being found on physical was the best of any pitcher in the draft in probably 15-20 years.

The one exception or close one to him would have been Clayton Kershaw. I think he would have been a big league rookie by 20 years of age if he hadn't gotten hurt.

The Mets signed Kay for $1.1 million. They are trying to use all their extra money to sign a HS kid from Kentucky.

Unreal how many of those top10 guys sign

I bet the scouts that drafted those 3 are going to be looking for employment elsewhere if something doesnt change the next few hours

@JonHeyman: The Pirates wished Nick Lodolo, No. 41 pick, well and the lhp will go to TCU, bucs offered $1.75M, essentially the max.
