Summarizing Serrano on Vols Calls:
Proud of the team for the first two weeks. Credited the Memphis lefty for our loss.

Said he we have a lot to get better at, but is happy considering Santiago, Leftridge, and Warren are struggling. Also mentioned that Serrano and Westphal haven't pitched and Bartlett has been out.

Said the young pitchers have impressed, thinks we can match arms with anyone. He said he thinks they will push for rotation spots. He also said Neely had a torn nail on throwing thumb, but Neely would never use that as an excuse.

Wow, I think I need to go to sleep. I thought those matchups looked a bit odd for a weekend series, so I checked the weekend scoreboard and just saw the same teams not noticing the different opponents. That would be a great tournament to attend.

Seeing Vandy at 6-5 is really eye brow raising. It's not like they have played a tough schedule either. Would just hate for them to have a down year.
