It is great being able to watch all of this college baseball. It would be greater if I could watch the college I have been a fan of since in utero.

Hey I agree. There have been several comments like yours that I have noticed in the short time I have followed the boards and wished something could be done.
Did you happen to see the post in the "Top 25 and other NCAA..." thread? Check out what TN Tech has going.



It seems like based on size they would have just as many if not more $$$ constraints as UT.

Anyway. I found the answer to my own question. This is how it works.

So if a live feed was available on a computer or tablet or even a phone, that wouldn't be something you would do? I'm just curious. I think the play by play on VN is cool and I know people that only like to listen to the radio/audio because they say the game is "in their head". I'm not selling. Just wondering if there is any interest to even ask. Its next to free by comparison to most video broadcast. TTU could not do it if was expensive.

My comment was flippant, sarcastic frustration from not getting a live stream like most schools our size have.

Even many high schools today provide live streams of athletic events using students........and they do a pretty decent job.

My daughter graduated from Oklahoma State last spring with a Sports Media Degree. She as well as other students in the program handled all the live stream broadcasts. The experience gained allowed her to land a job with a AAA baseball club as a game day presentation manager. When I read a list of requirements for the job, I was shocked that she had all the experience. I thought I had wasted my money on a BS degree. LOL. I guess I was wrong.

There's just no excuse that a school with our financial and student resources can't provide a live stream of each and every game.

And yes, I'd watch a periscope feed if that's all we had but I don't think we should have to settle for that. I've watched a few games on periscope and it's barely one notch above radio only. Pretty poor quality in the age of HD.

I get the sec network probably costs a lot of money to stream, but what about streaming through YouTube, I'm not completely sure how it works, but if they used a decent camera it would be watchable and i think it's free to stream on there

I watched a fair amount of college baseball this weekend, unfortunately none of the teams I watched were wearing Pantone 151.

Speaking of watching college baseball and the vols..... I just switched over to charter spectrum, and can't get my watch espn account to work... we only have the basic channels so do I not have the right package, or am I doing something wrong?
