It's never too early for these right?

I think 2017 will be a very strong year for vol recruiting. There are a handful of elite prospects in state that already have us high on their lists. We will lose a bunch of contributors at pretty much every position and will likely have numerous juniors leave for the nfl.

I expect Butch and co. to start strong and finish strong, like they did in '15. We should win done big games next year and that should pull a few other out of state recruits our way. I'm excited. GBO

Watched a Richardson play a few games last year, and will go watch him again this year since I live in Memphis. Huge RB, with great vision, and good speed for his size.

You would think that with the progress that this staff has made in the run game, and with the great success had by Hurd and Kamara, that players like Richardson and Chandler should be salivating to take over a very potent rush offense.

I hope we can land Richardson--anybody seen him play? Memphis isn't exactly an easy pull for the Vols given its location.

Ive seen him play. Not really tall, but very stout, with great vision and decent speed. He ran for over 350 yards in the state championship game. Memphis Trezevant doesn't play in the toughest division by any means but still a very solid RB prospect.

The funny thing is that this is a rather conservative class projection. Once we start wrecking on the field next year things are going to get interesting boys.

I know Trey Smith is a 5 star right now... But he plays terrible competition. It will be interesting to see how he performs at camps where he doesn't out weight everyone by 100+...

Supposedly dominated underclassman at either the Opening or Army All-American combine IIRC. I could be thinking of someone else though.

I think there will be a minimum of 3 running backs taken. Probably including a juco guy as well. This is likely our last year of Hurd and Kamara.

3 is possible. Of course losing 2 doesn't mean you have to sign 3. Young not returning could lead to taking a 3rd. I think they could get all of them instate. Chandler and Richardson if 2. They want a third and it should be Hayden imo.
