Honesty is listed as a PG and Williams is not ! ???

They are both about same height.

Actually I knew that. I was just making a comment that those are 2 high level recruits that could end up playing a UCONN. I did not know that UCONN is apparently not interested in Honesty.

Question for you guys? Do you think after winning the National Championship and losing Davis, Gray and Wilson after the 2018 season will land South Carolina the #1 recruiting class from 2018/19 and possibly taking some of our prospects who were thinking about committing to Tenn? Been kind of worried about this the past couple of days. She can offer them instant playing time not to mention show off her National Championship ring and she's very heavily involved with the USA Olympic basketball team. This is why I hope next year Tennessee can get back to the old Tennessee we became accustomed to under Pat.

The Lady Vols recruiting for 18-19 will depend more upon the Lady Vols identifying their position needs and recruiting for those needs then USC's championship. Hopefully they can get some early signees to satisfy their needs. The ability to sign late signees after January, may depend upon the success of the team, which already has immense top 10 talent. Success breeds success in the minds of most recruits, USC's Championship will be a big plus, however, I would not lose any sleep :snoring:eek:ver USC taking recruits from us. With that said, who knows because you are dealing with 17 and 18 year olds and their parents.

Are there any? Destiny decomitted from UCLA?
Transfers?

She decommitted from Southern Cal but they still are her number 1 choice... she was just waiting to see who they hired. Which I don't know why it is taking them so long... she also made the U18 3x3 team which may delay things...

Let's hope so !!! I would be making them drink orange juice, sleeping on orange pillow cases, and wearing orange pajamas... they can't wear orange socks to play in or they would be wearing those too ! Lol

How can someone be a great 3 x 3 coach? Interesting game to watch but identifying exploiting weaknesses with a limited time to prepare, the results are whether the ball goes through the net.

Kara is a very smart basketball person and would eventually make a great coach. Would love to see her enter somewhere as an assistant coach and work her way up. Don't know if she ever will... she probably makes better money in her many roles with ESPN, seems to enjoy it and is one of the few analysts I can stand on that network so I would hate to lose a WCBB announcer that is actually good.

But I absolutely agree with what stlvf says here.

Fans need to stop worrying too much. Just because Dawn won a championship doesn't mean every recruit will run to her. How many players ran to Maryland or Baylor or power-house uconn when they won championship? if a player love a school & the coach they'll go there. For a player to commit to a school base on championship & coach, then Holly as well Dawn will not have chance. I personally will not hire Dawn over Holly. Nothing like race cause "I'm blk" to me they're the same level but Dawn got lucky while Holly always lose a key player to injury, which is not excuse when cheap teams kept beating her.

Less for the players who gave verbal and more for players currently considering both... someone like Olivia Nelson Ododa. There are other comparable PGs who have SC as a school interest, so I don't think Massengill would necessarily change her mind, especially since Dawn has a highly rated PG commit for 2018 already.

I think what is more likely is that schools that weren't considering SC before may change their minds. I think there's a strong likelihood they can get the #1 class since there are a lot of top 10 players already considering them.

Olivia.N.O is Lady vols bound!!!

We are still in great shape with P Ododa #1, G Williams #2, G Nicoletti #3, W Decosta #6, PG Scott-Grayson #11 and G Balogun #15. All of these young ladies still have the Lady Vols at the top of there recruiting list!!! We will get 3 out of the above players!! Lets Go Vols. There will be plenty of playing time available for all of them, when they arrive.

The guard decision would be hard especially if more than one wants to come! Since we are losing five and got very little in 2016! Would you take six???

Ododa and Decosta are highest priority because of position!

If Williams and Nicoletti both want to come ? Who in their right mind would say no to either or no to Decosta because of numbers????

Exactly how did Dawn get lucky? She played who she had to play it was not SC's fault Baylor and UCONN lost. Dawn won her championship fair and square and did it without the #2 player in the Draft.
