**2019 March Madness RF Thread**

He was trying not to get that fifth foul. It cost them the game --no way that ball rolls around on the basket with him there.
its the play of the game. 5th foul is not a concern. either foul or dont. No weak fouls! He let them score 4 instead of 2. He'll learn that eventually

Up by 3, and Zion is driving... either you let him dunk it and Duke still loses or you make sure he doesn't get a shot off and force him to hit 2.

UCF (not the refs) kind of blew it there. Only real gripe is on the RJ put back, he pushed but Dawkins shouldn't have left his feet. Kids are so bad at boxing out these days.
Yea, I thought they should have fouled there.

Lol!! A call that has been a point of emphasis all year. A blatant one in a critical time...nah, don’t see anything there since it’s Duke. UCF guy has Barrett boxed out very well, but look at Barrett’s hands in his back getting ready to push him. Terrible officiating that cost UCF the game.

If that was a gif that was allowed to play through, you'd see the UCF player flying across the lane.

Watch the video I don't think you'll see much. Freeze frame can't capture a push in the back or not. Watched 4 or 5 times and it was nothing worthy of a call.

Sure ok let’s forget about the (Clear) push in the back.Justify the hook.

Do you know the rule?

"illegal contact caused by a player hooking an opponent over or under the arm in an attempt to deceive the official into believing the contact was caused by the opponent."

It was a non-event, no deception, etc. Their arms tangled immediately (on the ground), which is very common if you have played basketball...when they jumped their arms actually became disengaged.
