Disagree. Think there are about 6-8 teams that can realistically win it

Teams like VT, LSU, Texas Tech, Houston, Ohio State, Oregon, UC Irvine have no chance of winning it all imo

Don’t think I’m going to be able to make Thursday since we’re the first game. Would be cutting it close time wise for me. Should be there if we make it to Saturday.

So tell me what you guys think about the Purdue match up people. You guys think its a bad match up or you think its the best possible one for us to get to elite 8? Are they a 3 point shooting team or are they tough underneath?

OK? As I said, I listened to the presser. I’m still calling into question the judgment of the coach and Schofield. You foul out, so what? Game is on the line, and the team needs one of its best players on the floor. If we lose, the script gets questioned a heck of a lot more, IMO. You can have Alexander and Schofield on the floor at the same time. He could have easily guarded someone other than Garza and Cook. All JMO.

I think LSU could. Their coaching drama has an impact, but on their good day, they can beat anyone in the country, IMO. I just think their team has the tools to do it. I don’t think they will, however. LSU is almost like UT in tough matchups, incapable of building a lead and keeping it.

I thinks it’s arguable that LSU has a better chance than UK or Auburn, which are teams you did not mention as not having a chance.

I had 14/16 missing on Nova and K State. I’m 25th out of 180 participants and the Top dog with TENN as champs (Duke is overwhelming pick to win it all). One guy that I can see had 16/16.

That is a good question...I think the answer is purely subjective. I REALLY hope this team does not have that negative legacy pinned on them. They deserve better when you actually realize where they have come from, and what they had to work with.

I just don’t agree. Tied for most wins in the history of the program when 4 years ago we had our 4th coach in 6 years. Sweet 16 is the bare minimum I expected and would have been disappointed with less. An Elite 8 is a historic season and a final 4 makes them A Legendary Vols Team. I just can’t call them a failure for being ranked in the top 8 all year and going out to a 3 seed in the sweet 16. I get if Sweet 16 is a disappointment and you need Elite 8, but to require them to become Tennessee legends to avoid a failure of a season seems harsh.

It’s a very subjective question so your absolutely gonna have your view, but those are my thoughts on it.

I completely agree. I desperately hope this team goes to the Final Four and even wins the title. If ever there was a bunch of guys I would want to tell people about 30 years from now it’s this group.

It’s why I hate guys like Kamara, Donna, and so many other great people never had the great success here because they are memorable figures of this ERA who are great people and I hope will be remember for a long time.

Well, he did. He tried to draw a charge, at least. Something should have been called there. Probably a block. It did not look look like a flop. It looked like he tried to beat him to the spot. It could have gone either way. Not calling anything was clearly an advantage for Duke. I do get your point, but Duke actually wasted a lot of time prior to the drive. They started the possession with more than 30 seconds left. Not sure you foul with that much time left.
