**2019 March Madness RF Thread**

Apologies if already discussed, but I really do not understand Schofield keeping himself out of the game. Game on the line, and one of your best players keeps himself out of the game? I watched the post game presser, and I understand wanting to keep Alexander in the game, but you could easily drop Bowden to get Schofield on the floor.

I thought he was getting benched for the 3-point shot with about 45 seconds left in regulation when we were up by 2. I don’t think that’s a two-for-one situation. You run your offense, take time off the clock, and get a good shot. JMO. Just really puzzled me after watching the presser. I just can’t get over a team’s best player and leader keeping himself out of the game when the game is on the line. Rarely ever see that.

I was scratching my head over that one too.

“A.D. kept saying, ‘Leave Kyle in the game,’” Barnes said. “With four fouls, he knew they were gonna come right at him, and he said, ‘Coach, I can’t guard the way I need to guard, and I’m gonna foul, so you’ve got to leave Kyle in.’ That was his call.”

OU was 7-11 in conference, lost to Wisconsin by 20, Baylor by 30, and to WV in the Big 12 tournament. Not really much of a test for Virginia.
