2020 NFL Draft Thread

Of course Belichick takes someone from Lenoir Rhyne
Brings up a question stemming from that Athletic article Bass posted. Only 6 first rounders yesterday weren’t 4 or 5 stars. For acknowledged roster building gurus like Belichick with the Patriots and also the Ravens braintrust, how much a percentage of the team is 4-5 stars and how much is less than that? Asking cuz I don’t know the answer.

I can look at the Patriots roster form last year in a little bit.

Remember the good ole days when we used to put 5 to 6 players drafted in the first round. Now we hardly ever put a player in the first round or even have a played drafted like in 2015 and 2017 I hope Pruitt can get that turned around.

So using the week 1 roster, minus the specialists and adding the guys who weren’t on the week one roster either because of injury or suspension:
3-5*
16-4*
22-3*
3-2*
6-unranked

So, 38% of the week one roster were either 4 or 5 star recruits.
