2020 Presidential Race

Another big factor in 2016 was the 3rd party (Others) vote. It increased in every single state as well as DC. Over 5.5 million more votes were cast for someone other than the 2 major party candidates in 2016 compared to 2012. It will be interesting to see who the 3rd party candidates are in 2020. I figure much of Gary Johnson's vote (4.9m) will return to the Republicans as well as Evan McMullin's (0.8m). Stein has less than 1.5m and there were a little less than 1.2m that voted for Freak.

Yeah I knew the third party voting had gone up a good bit. I think if we saw a similar jump up this time it would directly impact the race.

I know Hilary lost some ECs because of the electorate going third party instead of voting for her.

I bet they would even still run big deficits.
We would.

IIRC if we taxed the top 10% at 70% we would have to tax the top 25% at 50% and the top 50% at 33%. And that's not including the SS/medicare portions.

And that's assuming none of the crazy programs get added. I keep telling Zepp, and he tries to argue Pete's math, but Pete's math doesnt add up by several trillion.

I was referring to him in his military fatigues with no insignia, name etc. Kissing his husband on stage is for the media to gush over. I assume he then hustled off to the kitchen to make his man some sandwiches.

They eat lots of Manwich's sloppy joe sauce

So Bloomberg is the new Joe?

I think Daddy Warbucks has been trying to put off being out in front of large groups unscripted as long as he could . He’s not going to be able to any longer . The show is about to begin and he’s supposed to be the DNCs main attraction.

I think it will eventually come out that he joined only to pad his resume to run for President. He most likely got preferential treatment for the length and/or location of his deployment. I wouldn't trust that little sh!t as far as I could throw him.
Pete’s service record makes Al Gore look like Patton.

Why are we bagging on a guy who served 7 months in Afghanistan? Pretty low. Attack his policies. He even jokingly refers to his time as “military Uber.” He doesn’t claim to be Patton.

Just likes to embellish his prowess in the Afghan theater a bit.

Pete Buttigieg strides past an oversized photograph of himself dressed in fatigues, the Afghan horizon behind him, as he enters a Des Moines arena for an Iowa Democratic Party gala. "In his first Iowa television ad, he holds a rifle and points it toward the rubble at his feet, introducing himself, “As a veteran."

The Independent left will rob a crap ton of votes from the Dems, no matter who the candidate is. If Bernie is the candidate, lots of moderates will go elsewhere. If anyone but Bernie is the candidate, BerniBros will refuse to vote for them. The Dems are in a very bad spot right now with the major rift they have in their base.

All corruption dems.

How would any of that be an embellishment? Which of those things has he not done? Battle fatigues, seen the Afghanistan horizon, or held a rifle? Seems pretty low key.

A New York big fish out of water in North Carolina. He's so relatable to those of us in the South. Here's his favorite companion with him while he's on the campaign trail doing his politic thing.......These Democratic candidates are all one big mess. Lol........the Nation continues to laugh at all of'em.
