2020 Presidential Race

That's dumb. You have to assume conservative anti-Trump voters would carry one for Biden. I know none who are that desperate.

Get them discussing policy and Amash would absolutely pull voters from Trump's camp. Maybe Biden too but only when they finally admitted he didn't have the mental faculties to even be running

It's really not so dumb when you think about it. What Amash does is give people opposed to Trump but realize Biden isn't the answer an alternative. I still don't think he will have much of an impact but what little he has will likely be at the detriment of Biden.

They're not but let's be honest, Amash isn't going to pull many votes from either candidate.
Not many people outside of Michigan even know who he is. Can he pull enough votes away from either candidate to make a difference just in Michigan? It's possible, but I highly doubt it.

Joe Biden more than held his own in the debate with Sarah Palin in 2008... and he did well in his debate against Paul Ryan in 2012. I think you are selling him short, however, setting such a low bar for Biden in those debates, might not end up being a bad thing, when he actually does, as you say "speak in complete sentences".

You are talking about two of the worst VP candidates the GOP has ever ran and not to mention those debates were 8 and 12 years ago.

... and Joe Biden is not a weaker candidate than John Kerry was in 2004. No way.

I doubt you hold the credentials to make such an assessment... and this (unprofessional) opinion of yours, just happens to suit your very clear agenda.

You can actually pull up and watch them and watch him in his last debates with dem candidates . It doesn’t take a masters degree to see it .

I strongly disagree about Paul Ryan. You're old enough to remember the walking misstatement that was Dan Quayle, right? And you do realize that Trump is not much competition on the debate stage too, correct?

You are seeing only what you want to see from Joe Biden ... and yes, you have arrived at your opinion by way of a very clear political agenda.
You can't honestly say he hasn't lost a step in 12 years? His performance as of late (prior to Covid and after) is pretty clear for all to see, it isn't just me that has come away with that impression. You are delusional. You are the one only seeing what you want to see and I'm not really sure why you can't see the obvious. Oh, I lied, I'm pretty sure why you won't/can't see it.

It will only become more obvious when he finally comes out of his basement. Then it will become impossible for you to ignore.

It doesn't even take an associate's degree from a community college, to see whatever you want to see, if it fits your political agenda.

This year's presidential election isn't about Joe Biden. Yes, Joe Biden's name will be on the ballot, but this election is a referendum on the presidency of Donald Trump and specifically, Donald Trump's leadership during a time of crisis.

... and Joe Biden is not a weaker candidate than John Kerry was in 2004. No way.
John Kerry and Hillary Clinton are the two worst I've ever seen. They came off as distant and elitist. Biden actually seems like a good guy, but he's just too old and seems to be acting his age. Reminds me a lot of when Republicans ran Bob Dole and later John McCain.

Your agenda is clear because you don't hold Donald Trump to the same standard that you do Joe Biden. Trump routinely makes a fool of himself on Twitter and in press briefings, and all you do is accuse people of having "TDS" when they point his many mistakes out. Such as our airports during the Revolutionary War... are you kidding me?

Trump will destroy Biden. Trump would be destroyed by Amash.

I don't disagree with you... and I think Biden would do well to announce that he won't be running for re-election in 2024, if elected. However, I still say that the 2020 presidential election is a referendum on the presidency of Donald Trump, and more specifically, on his leadership (or absence of) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Trump has left the Biden campaign an ample supply of material to use against him.

In a debate? Donald Trump is not articulate enough to destroy Donald Duck. Your interest has clouded your perspective of how Donald Trump is perceived by those who don't have a political leaning one way or the other. Trump is an idiot.

If you don’t think Joe has lost mental faculties from 12 years ago , I don’t think it’s the Republicans that are trying to make a narrative fit here . Just be honest about it .

Trump seemed to hold his own against Hillary three times last election

You do realize since you don’t fit into that “ no political leaning “ category your opinion is , by your own admission no good right ?

Thinking Trump is an idiot is why he keeps beating you. He's an extremely smart man and once you guys understand that you will understand how to beat him.

If it quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck... it's a duck. Trump talks like an idiot. Trump writes like an idiot (his tweets). Trump is an idiot.
