I think it's unique to Trump. Polls didn't underestimate Obama's performance anything like this; on the eve of the election only the most partisan Republicans thought McCain had any chance of winning. Even a state like NC, which Obama flipped, was a statistical dead heat right before Election Day. He also had a consistently healthy lead in the national poll too. The polls didn't really miss 2008. They didn't actually miss all that badly in 2016 either, but they did in 2020.So is this a unique situation or does it become a trend? I mean, for the ‘08 election the polls way underestimated Obama’s performance.
I prefer not to have voters informed by Ted Nugent or Donald Trump voting. Thank god we’re all free to be as stupid as we please though.
unfortunately, you are correct but if Republicans can hold the Senate and it looks like they will with around 51-52 votes then that will prevent Biden from "court packing" and the gains in the House will at least make it more difficult to pass the Green New Deal and other destructive bills
Pollsters better hope that’s true or else they will have lost the confidence of people who pay for their services for decades to come.I think it's unique to Trump. Eh to be honest outside of massive mask mandates, I don’t expect much to change. The status quo is usually kept for the most part regardless of who is in charge.
Even though I think he is a horrible, corrupt individual who likes young children way too much, I sincerely hope Biden does great things as president.

I appreciate that. Although, truth be told, I am very pessimistic about politics and politicians. I just don't see much difference between the two major parties. I also think they tend to be very rhetorical in their speech and very pragmatic (what's best for them politically) in their policy. You’re far more optimist than myself.
Case in point. Indoctrinate yourself and strive for ignorance as you please. MericaYeah, because getting advice from a bartender zero knowledge of economics and thinks cow farts should be illegal or a former Vice President that hasn't done anything in 47 years of government except toss minorities in jail is much better.
