Do you mean conservatives favor a strong nationalistic country, with low taxes, tons of opportunities for business, and family growth, and a population that doesn't rely on the government for every little thing?

1950s America was sure a hell of lot better than 1960s America

and yes i agree that things like ACTUAL racism, and opportunities for women needed to be expanded during the 50s, but those issues are not like they were then (and certainly not considered a "conservative" issue)

The US government is never really going to do that though, they don't have the actual manpower to, even if Shannon Watt herself was President. And it wouldn't just be "rural conservatives" would oppose that.
