It takes 270toWin. If neither candidate gets a majority of the 538 electoral votes, the election for President is decided in the House of Representatives, with each state delegation having one vote. A majority of states (26) is needed to win. Senators would elect the Vice-President, with each Senator having a vote. A majority of Senators (51) is needed to win.

State House delegations can cast their vote for president from among the three candidates receiving the most electoral votes, while Senators are limited to the top two candidates in their vote for Vice-President.

AOC or any other progressive would probably get smashed in a national election. Hispanics do not like progressive/socialistic policies. It’s why Biden lost Florida.

There really wouldn't be anything stopping people from just converting crypto to dollars right at the POS. Unless the US government bans the use of crypto, which would be giant violation of rights as far as I'm concerned. Which I guess means they will be totally for it. Probably just come out and say crypto gives you Covid or something.

The writing was on the wall the last time around. I agree that NC seemed more likely to go blue, but GA if it flips because of Atlanta growth doesn't surprise me at all. I went to bed on election night ago fully expecting GA to be blue the next morning - and I'll be shocked if it doesn't by the time some counties in GA finally find enough fingers and toes to finish the count. GA with Atlanta is like VA with NoVA. A small geographic area with a radically different culture has swamped both states. The country will become more and more divided with this kind of urban growth (blight to many of us).
