2020 Presidential Race

Disagree, as much as I’d like to agree. He got axed because of the Covid non-response.

If he had pretended to take it seriously for more than that one national address, he’d have won in a landslide.

The mail-in votes tell the story. Biden dominated those votes. They flipped the script in 4 swing states, maybe all 6, that Biden won.

Those are the people who are taking Covid most seriously and they made the difference in the election, IMO.
Agree. Repeatedly saying "we're rounding the corner on COVID" as new case counts increased by the day wasn't a good look.

I really feel like Trump is the first president to be voted out of office, just because of an unlikeable personality. The other two most recent one term presidents (Carter and GHWB) were in the middle of recessions. They were also widely regarded for being good people. Trump did this to himself. He is the first president to lose to his own a$$holishness.
I agree with all of that.

- 4 years of fighting a media that was determined to either end his presidency or get him out this round
- Ds spending truck loads of $ the last 12 months
- Covid (regardless of how you feel about it) went political from day 1
- Economy shaken and unemployment up as a result of the previous

After all that, it took him being unlikeable to seal the deal for some.

I thought Obama was more likeable, until he got to what he wanted to do and some of what he did. Its the exact opposite with Trump. From where I stand.

I didn't need to personally like either.

On what Trump was as a president for 4 years by comparison to what Joe might be?

Can't speak for everybody but that easy regardless of who you vote for.

The problem I have is people who are unable to take into account character. That does mean something and this election proved it. He might have gotten away with just being your typical run of the mill *******, but he kept doubling down.

If not for COVID and its effects on the economy, I think he's reelected.

Those pesky states rights.

Bet you don't like them now huh?
Ignorant argument; Sec. of States and courts changing election laws made by state legislatures, are those violating “states’ rights”.

The arguments and lawsuits stating they have no power to do that are the states’ rights advocates.

Sorry to derail your goofy ‘gotcha’ argument just when you thought it going so well.
