2020 Presidential Race

I mean, I pay $700/month for my healthcare, and that is just a portion. My employer pays the larger share. But what you said is everyone is on government healthcare. There is a small percentage of people that want free healthcare. I mean I am happy with Kaiser.
Dems want as much free stuff as you all can get. Your party wants free healthcare. "Healthcare should be a human right" In my best Bernie Sanders voice

Cracking “jokes” about bleach and UV rays, having a bunch of “sarcastic” moments during those daily briefings, fighting with reporters, giving up on it, and whining about Covid getting more attention than him wasn’t, either.

Being such a piss poor leader that he couldn’t even get his own cult followers to pretend like it was a big deal for 6 months to help him win the election: also a bad look.

I thought people would care about the impeachment, the Russia stuff, his personality. This is pretty much a hot take at this point, but based on the senate and house races I think those things (and defund the police) did more harm for democrats than good.
Republicans actually had a great week... they won most of the contentious elections - except of course for the presidency (it appears). I'm really surprised that Collins won so easily in Maine. The polls had it completely wrong. I am relieved that we got rid of Gardner in Colorado.

Again...straight from the trump playbook. You can't ever admit to losing something, so instead you play the blame game.
There is a reason the ballots were counted while most of us were sleeping. We all knew you all wanted to steal the election, we aren't shocked by this

I don’t agree, but it seems most people think so given that they voted to retain senators who voted for trump and many are voting out congressional members who voted to impeach.
It is nonsense.... just like the stuff republicans will try to pull now will be nonsense..... to impeach a sitting president..... there should be way more evidence than that little blip of a phone call..... that goes for either side.

Disagree, as much as I’d like to agree. He got axed because of the Covid non-response.

If he had pretended to take it seriously for more than that one national address, he’d have won in a landslide.

The mail-in votes tell the story. Biden dominated those votes. They flipped the script in 4 swing states, maybe all 6, that Biden won.

Those are the people who are taking Covid most seriously and they made the difference in the election, IMO.

Would agree that covid made a huge difference in the campaign leading up to the vote.

The media did all of Joe's heavy lifting. That had more to do with it than the perceived "non" response or truth of it.
It allowed Joe to just stick with "listen to the science" without really having to explain the impact to the economy and unemployment if thats all you decided to factor in.
Reality is, he would have been forced to listen to the "experts" outside of just the science to make a plan. Had he been in the seat at the time.

As big of a "jerk" as Trump is, he wins in a landslide without covid.
If he was a little more 'likeable" he wins a close race with it.

If anything it was the ease of mailing an unsolicited ballot back. Just proves how lazy and dependent they are.
I don’t agree with the unsolicited ballots either but everyone faced the same rules.... I do believe it was a political and he lost that round
