Its state by state but if memory serves if the final tally is within x % a recount is automatic. Lesser it has to be requested.

Obviously we have to dig those people up and prosecute them for failing to notify election commissions that they died. Surely you aren't suggesting that election commissions to get off their deadbeat asses to ferret out fact. Makes perfect sense. The candidate you don't like should have to show his tax returns (which I believe he has), but the one you support and that continues to lie about his shouldn't have to. Very logical.

The tax returns I want to see are the politicians like Biden - and particularly Biden's - that cover the years when the became multimillionaires on a modest salary. Returns that show how they did it - where the money came from, or the tax fraud from not reporting it. On the second part if you are ready to jump with the IRS would have detected fraud, then we never needed to see Trump's tax returns in the first place. But a lot of us really want to know how to become a millionaire on a congressional salary.

Covid played a role - I agree with you on that. Covid drove the mail in voting concept - it was a good mechanism to weaken the process and invite fraud. Did it really cause fraud (as in other people filling in ballots for someone or buying a vote), who knows. Did it entice people who would normally never bother to go vote - probably - WI and MI certainly say yes. Do I think covid had anything to do with keeping informed and conscientious people away from the polls - nope - except for those who are actually ill with it. Dems have always been top notch with things like voting drives and enlisting people to a cause - they did it again. Will republicans ever wake up and grow some balls and join the grassroots game ... doubtful.

Dems - particularly the leftists who hijacked the party - learned long ago that feelings like wealth envy were their friends - all it takes is a campaign to demonstrate - how they are the people of the oppressed and how others have held them down etc. It is the thing that successful tyrannies are made of - Hitler used it sway a core of believers, but the real masters have always been the communists. The playbook has been available for years - you just have to pick and "oppressed" and sell them. The only time the GOP was any good at it was using "silent majority" and religion.

I hope you guys will eventually realize that you’re being taken for a ride on this fraud stuff.

I think Dana and most of the five and all late night host would move.

Waters has been very vocal lately that fox is pissing him off.

I see some fox business people bolting too.

Fox would become cnn overnight.

Trump could also go subscription based and give a roku option that foxnews doesnt fully have. This could be huge in itself.

The EC is fine. The only archaic thing was unsolicited mail in ballots. Roughly 1% in popular vote doesn’t mean anything except we are very divided and it will continue to worsen. That’s ok.

Everyone knew that the mail in ballots would favor Biden. Every pollster and expert in the business said that for the last 3 months, plus. And Trump knew it, too. That's why he went on the offense against them so much leading up to the election. Problem is, the system that elected him has also used mail in ballots. They just aren't that exotic. And the loser can always claim, with no evidence, that they were manipulated.

In this election, where states were allowed to count the mail in ballots as they came in, Biden started with a lead which dwindled and then was overtaken by election day voting by Trump. See e.g. Florida. But that is because Florida elections supervisors were allowed to count ballots as they came in.

Pa. was one of a number where Republican legislatures directed that no mail in ballots could even begin to be counted until November 3. So on that date, those states first tallied in person votes. And as in Florida, those skewed to Trump. Then, they turned their attention back to the mail in ballots, which take longer to count because they have to be opened and verified. So as those finally got counted, they went towards Biden, just as in Florida.

The two claims you hear are that 1) ballots got added after the fact. Not true. Or 2) ballots are improperly being counted for Biden. But in those counting rooms where there is any question you have a GOP person and a Dem person that review it and if need be go to a tie breaker person.

It would take a HUGE number of those ballots to really be in question so as to make any difference because there just aren't that many of them. We'll know exact numbers on that later, but it seems like a truly impossibly small chance of any result changing data there. So small as to be disregarded as we move forward with the transition to a new administration.

Why would mail in ballots favor Biden? Are you suggesting that the lazy will fill out a form but not go vote? Are you suggesting that there's a lot of money in election coffers that could be distributed for a signed blank form? If you are suggesting that dems would stay away from polling places because the bad republicans would infect them with deadly toxins, I'm claiming BS if it's that one.
