I would. I would even vote for a black women. I would of voted for Condy Rice in any of the last three elections if she had stayed in politics. It’s about qualifications, not skin color or gender.Republicans won't vote for a woman. She'll be window dressing in the primaries if she even makes it there.
If I was told that I could mail in my vote Nov 2nd and it would count if received on Nov 4th or 5th then I would be pissed if it didn’t count. You’d think you surely could trust your state SC on such things. Now maybe there’s some rule to come out what gives them such authority but I’m not aware of it. It’ll be an interesting battle regardless of the impact to the election result.
I understand that and agree but I’d still be pissed if my state SC told me otherwise and I voted under the “rules” as presented. Im sure you would be too.No, there are no rules to that effect, nor can there be. The constitution expressly grants election law to the state legislatures. Not even the Supreme Court of the US can change election laws and certainly not the state supreme courts, nor any politician or official.
Every vote that did not conform to state law should be invalidated.
