With Russia, nothing will change.

With China, the trade war will end and China will go back to doing all the bad things it was doing (and probably never stopped). The Belt and Road initiative will continue unchallenged and in 10 - 20 years we'll be wondering why the hell nobody did anything about it

To be honest with you , when it said CNN I didn’t open it . Reading isn’t hard for me , reading slanted articles from a media outlet proven to lie continuously and always one way .. is .

I don’t remember Obama doing a presser with Putin and stating that he trusts Putin over US intelligence agencies.

I didn’t read any opinions in that article. Attacking CNN doesn’t make any of the 37 things in that article and less true. Thank god the age of Trump-style ad hominem garbage has been rejected by this country.

again - reread my statement. I said Trump did it with words. Your example is words. It was embarrassing and I thought he was a POS for that press conf. but the actions his administration took certainly weakened Russia.

the policy to make W. Europe less dependent on Russian natural gas impacted Russia both financially and WRT to power over W. Europe

providing lethal aid to the Ukraine helped protect them against Russian aggression whereas after the annexation of Crimea the previous administration refused this request

strengthening our military further puts Russia behind in ability to exert aggression.

I think the 2016 results in Wisconsin is what drove voter turnout this year. A registered D in TN may feel discouraged to vote since it is always a R landslide. Also a registered R in TN may feel it isn’t important to vote since it is always a R landslide. However in 2016 Wisconsin was won by a few thousand votes. That signaled to voters from both parties that their votes are very important. I would be suspicious if I saw a voter turnout like this in TN or NY.
If I was still suspicious of the turnout in WI I would check outside factors to see if they support the data. In the weeks leading up to the election how many political ads were run there? How much effort did both campaigns put into their “get out the vote” initiatives there? How many rallies did each candidate hold there just before the election? How large was each campaign’s staff in the state?
If you find WI was receiving more focus and money than most other states then you would expect them to have a higher % of voter turnout.
Think back to 2016 when Trump won the rust belt, a typical Democrat strong hold. It turned out R turnout was up while D turnout was down. Why? Hillary visited those state a few times in the month before the election while Trump had visited dozens and dozens of times.

A side note is that mail in voting makes it easier for people who are registered to actually vote. States that allow all their voters to vote by mail should see a higher turnout than states that don’t.

Trump leaving has no bearing on CNNs credibility. You need to get that out of your head now . A lack of Trump will not get me to hold your hand and sing praises to the MSM . They have failed us all as a free news agency , it’s impossible to claim a free press when you sell your soul for Money, Prestige, Power, and Likes . I will never believe that is what the FF meant when they put so much importance on the word “ Free Press “ .
