2020 Presidential Race

That is one bastardized term that needs to die with the Trump White House. LOL.

I am looking forward to not having his stupid rhetoric in the news so much. Trump flooded the news cycle with absurdist behavior and the press had to comment on every one of his dumb tweets. I've heard from people who even voted for Trump, who say that is one thing they won't miss when he's gone.
How about media censorship instead of fake news?
Anything negative about Biden was automatically censored by liberal news media and the largest social networks. One of the first signs of a direction toward an authoritarian regime. Another sign is the absence of fair and honest elections. We have seen both signs within the last month and especially election week.

Nah it’s just starting 😈

It would be funny if this election turned out like a few TN football games. Dems win the first half, start celebrating a great victory, and loose the game. Not expecting it, but it would be fun to watch. Everybody should accept a fair election (maybe not happy but ...), nobody should walk away pleased with a system if it is demonstrated as fraudulent. The "if" requires actual research - not just claims - claims of impropriety have to be researched.

We have zero signs that this wasn't a fair and honest election. We have some very predictable whining from the side who lost.

Did the equal access law for political candidates die and go away? I haven't heard it mentioned in a very long time.

No, no, no. Dems have explained this. Republicans voted for the GOP in other places on the ballot, but Trump was so despicable that they couldn't bring themselves to vote for him. In fact, they were so disgusted they didn't even vote third party or simply abstain - they jumped ship went whole hog and voted for Biden.

There are definitely signs. Read the last couple of pages in this thread. So if you believe this was a fair and honest election you wouldn’t mind if there was an audited recount in all the swing states? This would include the swing states that both Biden and Trump are projected to win. I’m down with it, are you?

I’m not familiar with it but would like to hear more.

It used to be a thing. If one candidate bought commercial time then the opposition had the right to the same deal - at least that's how I remember it. Perhaps it has been abolished.

Although the Equal Time rule is concerned with equal access, not initial access, for candidates, a 1979 ruling by the FCC, in effect, required stations to give candidates for federal office "reasonable access" to the airwaves. The case resulted from a request by then-President Jimmy Carter to buy airtime for his reelection campaign. The networks denied the request on the grounds that no equal time provision was at issue and it was too early in the campaign. The FCC, and ultimately the Supreme Court, ruled that the networks should have provided the time. This is now known as the "reasonable access" rule.

He did do some good things, but then he'd go and put his foot in his mouth and say something like white Supremacists were good people. A shame they didn't take his twitter account away years ago.
Except he never said that. The media lies and you took them at their word. You should know better but you certainly aren’t alone. We all do it at times, especially if the lie backs up a preconceived notion. Even if he did say that you’re ignoring actions and going by words but the fact he never said that makes it even worse.

Absolutely. The last couple of pages don't include any evidence of voting fraud. I see some personal anecdotal incidents which even taken at face value (and that is giving a big benefit of the doubt here), are not evidence of any systemic fraud. None of these races are as close as Florida was in 2000... and from election night until December 12, 2000... there was a manual recount which cut about 1,200 votes from Bush's lead over Gore. You are hoping for recounts to make up differences of more than 10,000 votes - or in the case of Pennsylvania - more than 40,000? It's just not going to happen.
