2020 Presidential Race

I’m not kidding myself or anyone else; unlike you I don’t propose to know how many votes arrived after November 3, or how many other votes that are invalid were counted and counted for whom. I don’t and will not make any projections on who comes out on top. As I’ve stated before a loss in a fair, validated election is fine but that is the minimum acceptable standard, and ANY votes not conforming to state laws must be excluded if we are to remain a constitutional republic of law.

Pennsylvania mail ballots arriving in 3-day window not 'make or break'

Count them or throw them out. Either way, it’s over.

He was just being flippant. The press is trying to get Trump's team to concede and Pompeo wasn't having it. I seriously doubt he thinks Trump is going to prevail.
I was going to say that there’s more context to his remarks, but today’s media doesn’t care about providing context anymore.

It was fuel on the fire for sure. Like I said, not sure a SoS has ever said something so politically inflammatory in a transition.
He and Barr are just trying to stay employed a couple more months. Excusable? No. Necessary? For their futures , probably. And he'll fire anybody that works with the Biden transition team. Nut Case and a Cancer that never goes away.

I'm fine with that. It won't matter in the end, but I did think it was silly to count votes that came in late with no postmark.

I think there's a good chance this will be Trump's only favorable ruling in the end.

Why do people keep claiming that "there is only x number of votes left" and trump cant make up the deficit.

Everyone does understand that the claims are fraudulent votes HAVE ALREADY been counted right?

The rest of the votes are not even important at this point.

We must have a fair voting account. That is paramount to the ideas and safety of the country. WE ALL LOSE if we allow fraud in the election, dems-reps-indep....doesnt matter.

I suggest everyone watch the video that has been posted multiple times in multiple threads about how easy it is to commit voter fraud.

We have to either have a re-vote with officials from all sides watching all votes counted or we need to have a deep dive into the software that these counties are using to collect and tally votes.

Its that simple

Yes, you are kidding yourself. This was a free and fair election. You just don't like the result. The right was up in arms when Hillary Clinton advised Biden to not accept the results on election night, if he lost. Now, it's a completely different tune. It's hypocrisy.

Let me explain this as though I’m talking to a child. I think Biden is bad for the country so of course I’m not happy about the election, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to grasp any straw to hope that Trump wins.

Any state in which election laws were broken by state officials or courts has not had a free and fair election; they have an election tainted by illegal and illegitimate actions of those state officials and courts. Whether that works out to Trump’s advantage is up to the legal vote and will be determined through legal challenges as it should be. And regardless of the winner, state officials and judges who Participated in this illegitimacy and illegality should be punished, period.

As always, mine is a principled and objective argument. If the addled, corrupt old fool wins fair and square, then he wins. Gore had more than five weeks, so the left can just hold their water for at least another four, if necessary.

Yeah... probably so. We don't know who those votes were for. It's highly unlikely that they were all for Biden but even if they were, it's not going to flip the state. A recount won't either. Trump's ego and pride won't allow him to admit defeat. He is childlike. This election was not close. It is going to end up being the same count in the electoral college as in 2016, which he called "a landslide" at the time. Trump was talking about his landslide victory in the electoral college for over a year.

I get the hyperbole, but please do not use "Cancer" in such a manner.

There is nothing ever objective about the tripe you post. The 2000 Presidential election was a close one. It hung completely in the balance from the results in one district in one state. The margin was less than 1,800 votes on election night. The final margin wound up being only 537. You also had the fact that the Governor of that disputed state just happened to be the brother of the leading candidate. Those were extraordinary circumstances. This is not a comparable situation to 2000. Bush vs Gore was close... this election was not. Trump is delaying the inevitable here.
