2020 Presidential Race

She's the real deal. More than that, Rudy Guiliani (that they mock mercilessly) was the most celebrated NY mayor in history, who was credited with cleaning up the dirtiest corruption in the city. He's the real deal as well. The best I can figure, the libs here are just mocking the objects of their fears.
Yeah I love Rudy. Let the Libs dance. I think I’ll really like how this movie ends.

Also, 2 interesting questions I would be willing to throw out there...

1. Suppose I had a batch of ballots and I ran them threw the machine multiples of times... or just twice. Do the voting machines keep a record of how each vote was cast? In other words, if the first 10 votes were for Trump and the next 10 were for Biden, would the voting machine have a time stamp of when each vote was entered? What are the odds of 40 random votes being 10 Trump, 10 Biden... and then immediately afterwards another 10 for Trump and 10 for Biden? What are the odds that 400 consecutive votes would follow this same pattern?

2. Is there a possibility that a group of ballots were "planted" by an in investigative entity and intentionally mixed in amongst other ballots that the entity knew would be counted after a certain deadline? In other words, the ballots were filled out on November 4th (let's say 2:00 am) and mixed in with other ballots that were also created/filled out during that same time frame?

How do you suppose the DOD is going to handle the guy who can't remember where he put the keys they gave him? How do you think the DOD is going to handle Biden after his security slips? He has a history of them.
C’mon man! Joe’s “the guy”, he told us himself.

I don't know how many more days of this topsy turvy stuff I can take. I've already gone from up to down to back up again just today as news breaks...

It's interesting - something that's fun to follow like how other teams are doing on football Saturdays. Whoever is declared the winner when the screaming and yelling is over is the winner - for better or for poorer. Not worth getting upset over - we've done our part.

The process - how the election was managed - that's due at least moderate outrage. This country blundered another one - this far worse than any before. Once you've decided which ballots are legitimate, there shouldn't be any problem counting them. First grade math Mary has 2 apples and 3 oranges; Bob gives her an orange; how many ... That's all counting votes is all about 2500 Bidens plus 1 Biden equals 2501 Bidens - no decimal places no reverse in totals etc. But somebody got cute and screwed it up - just keep it simple.

2. You're basically describing a canary. It's a commonly used active defense.

Gorsuch, Kavanagh, and Barrett were all on Bush's legal team that secured him a Supreme Court victory in the 2000 contested election.
Ted Cruz was a part of that team too. He was interviewed today on the Michael Berry show (local Houston conservative talk radio guy) and lamented that Trump has not hired better lawyers than Rudy.

I started to say that ballots are numbered so supposedly a ballot couldn't be entered twice if the software flagged the number; but after looking at sample ballots, they have no number. Anybody know the answer to that? Why wouldn't every ballot have a unique identifier to avoid duplicate entries and insure validity?

You'd think they'd be bar coded.

Rudy should have rested on his laurels rather than tarnish them.

Well the reason why I threw that out there is that there is an accusation that votes were supposed to be entered 50 at a time during the vote counting... and the counters on the counting machine should read 50 after each pass. Yet, this one witness noticed counters over 50... some going up to 500, indicating that the same stack of ballots were just cycled thru multiple times.

Well hell... you could say the same for Trump. Why would he run for president to get his reputation tarnished? He was one of the most popular people in this country before he threw his name in the ring. Then he became a racist misogynist Russian apparatchik.

It's one of those things you don't pay attention to. I'm was pretty sure the tear off tab at the top had a number - now I'm questioning that. I spent a few years managing and analyzing big databases and got pretty good at SQL. If you want to make a database impervious to duplicate entries, you just use an ID number. ID and a matching name can exist elsewhere, but the main (or more public) database would only have an anonymous identifier. It's easy enough then to query the database and look for duplicates, records with no ID, or an ID out of range. Presumably a scanner would read the coded ID and enter it with the marked boxes.
