But I did. I pointed out your question was needlessly narrowed bull **** like you always do. If they want to act as editorial overlords then they don’t require 230 protection saying “hey we just published it as is we aren’t responsible for it.”

You put forth a question that did not reflect the post in question. There was no tenable answer related to publishing parallel content. The point in question was the modification of the original content. And at this point I’m pretty sure you’re not smart enough to realize that.

LOL! You guys literally parse every word with the responses you receive from each other's posts. A perfectly indicative example of this country's divisiveness and negative discourse. A clear reflection of our elected leaders' unwillingness to compromise with one another, and it's equally bad from both sides of the aisle

Have you met Rocky? It’s the only way he can communicate so we try to accommodate him. But he trips over his Johnson eventually like he did here with trying to pin the original ask on a totally unrelated point for the tweet that was presented.

That's exactly the point. The mask has to be effective and worn properly. When there's ample evidence that people aren't doing that, you can't say that masks don't work. It's a lot like mail in voting has a lot of fraud because it was never implemented properly. It doesn't make sense to implement a flawed practice and then claim the practice is unworkable - it could well be effective if done correctly.

Velo go read the wiki page on section 230. Here is the link. The answer to your question is they indeed can do whatever they want it’s their service. BUT if they want 230(c) protections then they need to throttle their content moderation within the limits allowed by the protection. That’s the crux of it.

And again I don’t think the goal is to repeal the law rather it’s to enforce giving protections to those over stepping the bounds. That was the Parler CEO’s point I believe.

No. I personally know 10-15 posters but they mostly post in the football and basketball forums. Rocky and you both trip from what I've seen of your exchanges
